The delcatty ex is for the power, the LVX should take care of the recycling. The power gets rid of the fires in you hand so you can use his attack. I suggest possibly playing a 2-2 infernape/lvx instead of the 3-1 approach. You need to be able to have more than one and you shouldn't depend on a single card to do the job.

Use the old chimchar and monferno becasue they are sooooo much better. Also you don't need taht much starter. Takeout phione and pachi and play 1 new rotom and 2 stantler. Also tech in a 1-0-1 typhlosion line or else mid game this is just the old infercatty and the old ape is better in that. Do not ever play any energy that can not provide fire energy in ape. Take the call energy out and add 1 more fire energy and 3 scramble energy for a quick KO. Play 4 celio and 4 rare candy and 4 TVR. Take out the oaks visit. Play at least 2 plus power and a strength charm. Take out the bebe and the master balls for that.

The new Monferno is much better than the old one.
1 for 30 and burn? Yes please.

Go for one more Rare Candy. I know that you only play three stage 2 cards, but you will be Night Maintenancing and you also want to be sure to have the Rare Candy at all times.
Maybe a 4th Chimchar too.

3-3-3-1 ape
3-2-1 catty/catty ex
4 ROTOM (amazing with catty, powers your apes up..)

run straight fire couple of multis, then use crystal beach.. makes the deck a LOT better.

you cant play ape without dres, i understand your list has 4 rotom but that only works good early on, you have nothing but single energy placements mid game , for 40 unless you want to give that many prizes away to dual trans, i am interested in trying your build out because one thing i can think of that makes up for the midgame problems, is fast flare ups,

these are what i would change to make it somewhat close to what i play

monferno dp

+1 candy
+1 windstorm
-4 call energy
+1 fire
+1 scramble
-1 masterball
+1 premiere ball
-3 phione
+2 pachirisu
+1 tauros cg

pachirisu engine is the better starter than phione, call energy slows down flare ups, you don't want to waste, retreating, or energy draw on a call energy,

If u want to add burn for more damage is . If u want an energy for to attach to monferno this os good too. It just depends if u need the enrgies for attack or go for the burn and attack immediately.

I Played a List Of This Except I Ran 4-3-2 Dp - 1 Md - 1 LV-X

and One Lunatone For Discarding Energy. I Was Often Discarding 3 Energy A Turn And by turn 2 able to do some 150

And Turn 1 80

3-2-3-1 ape, ur playing the right chimchar either monferno is fine because sumtimes u wish u could burn them and sumtimes u need 2 attach an energy neither is that much better drop call energy slim phione line play more pachirisu

God those new Chimchars really do suck. I kinda like the monfernos, though, since they have
no retreat cost. I got the Empoleon starter though, so I don't remember if the old monfernos
share that feature. But at most, yes. Use the DP Chimchar.

Phione is great, but you only need one or two. I'd run 2 Phione and 2 Pachirisu.

im confused y do people say the old chimchar is better???? wow my attack is free but ull have an energy on me anyways because im part of ur main line

Wait a second...

Delcatty ex is better for the attacking. First you use Felicity's Drawing and then use energy draw. After that, you use constrain to get rid of tons of energy cards. Then use Upstream for the win. Then do that again!
