I like a good clever name that's not too long. Dark Heart was good. Monarchy. LBS.

I think the most clever deck name of possibly ever is Mario. Why? Because when you're opponent flips a Riolu and shows you a PP, you say, "Here we go!"

Jaja Is funny remebering the name of my olds decks my proto Rocklock was called "La Dinosauria" my Gardy Ex deck was "purple manace" and lastly my milotic-Gorebyss was called "camarones a la diabla"

The only deck I ever really gave a unique name was my play on Zap-Turn-Dos; a Zapdos ex & Rayquaza ex deck back some formats ago. I named it "Tyrants of the Stratosphere."

Other than that, my decks usually fallow the main-hitter name trend. Probably my favorite name being "Turbotops", the name of my old Neo-on Kabutops deck.

my personal 3 favorite

GODofWAR (*i started calling it this so early, im not going to say i named it or anything, but i sure as HECK didn't hear anybody else call it this before I did)

and

ROCK-LOCK (see sig)

Liability (see sig)

o yes, not my favorite names, but less we not forget BAR and RAMBO ...

TRUK
Pickup TRUK
Moving TRUK
Ramen TRUK
Fire TRUK
Ice TRUK

I want a new TRUK, not a quail or an owl...

...wait, that's not how the song goes.

Since decks become famous shortly after they start winning, I think it's fairly reasonable that the name determined pretty much by some combination of the basic composing elements. At least we're not reducing decks to acronyms like in the early EX era.

I'm pretty sure what makes a deck name stick is how easy on the tongue it is when talking.

Sometimes it's just a matter of how easy it is to say, or that it isn't really silly.

I completely agree in every way. Names like Garllade are easier than gardylade and Begfriend!? WHERE did that name come from? i hate it so much... i dont mind the truks, as again, their easy to say. Quickitune, it may not be a deck but its a good name.

To answer Crown Axes request, my personal favorite for gardevoir gallade is garllade.
