Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The most awesomely epic amazing thing ever invented, hands down

Its not as bad as it sounds, you cant wield that thing without blinding yourself unless youre wearing some hightech sunglass whatever equipment. So the problem will fix itself ;)

If youre near the person youre done for anyway, if not, at least the chance of ever meeting such a person decreased ;)

One pair comes free with the purchase of the laser. :X

if you look up some youtube footage of these kinds of lasers, it's kind of insane. they burn stuff, are bright, and they can shine all the way across a city.

This 'lightsaber' or laser is overhyped. I know someone who has one of these powerful lasers brought on the very-greymarket for about $3k. This cheaper and far more available model seems it'll be just as strong or weaker. Yes these lasers are like looking at a constant straight line of a lighting strike and yes they do burn things but not instantly unless it's paper. The burning skin is not the concern for these things the concern is the radiation-posioning that one risks exposure to when around these things.

Lasers have a definite shelf-life that is non-revivable once entirely spent, without entirely replacing the crystal and conductor-focal point that emmits the light from the device.

o my god just had the best idea

Let's also create red matter to suck the world into a black hole, and sell it for just $19.99!!!!

seriously, I can see wars being waged with this thing.

Wars? with what this $200 piece of crap!? It's overhyped, yeah looking into will do damage but it's not going to put a straight clean hole through your skull. It wouldn't be commercialy aviable for so cheap and with out some sort of prior license-signing to would-be-owner unless of course gym member Lakak had to just that though I doubt it.

There are very powerful lasers out their but they are not aviable to the public and are used by research facilities, industries like mining and governments. They cost several hundred thousand to several million and and are not transportable by just one person. I believe the most powerful hand held laser out there is or was around $40k.

Alright we're even, we cannot all be perfect.

Now that this thread has made mention indirectly of the 2012 thread, perhaps very cheap commercially available lasers will be just one of many destructive causes on 12/21/2012. Though they'll probably just be used to bring down your spaceship that has the limited capacity of 200.
