Austin Reed (because his a 1st years-Master and finished in top 8 as the only US player in that age-group at WC 2007and was at WC 2006 in top 4 (senior))

Top Deck:
FlyChange (Flygon/Nidoqueen/Magcargo) (because it was a SD Deck at WC 2007 and finished 2nd that year and got 4 players into top 16. also won the Danish National in both Master and Junior 2007)
Absolutions/Speed Spread (Because it won the US National and WC 2007in Master)

Steffen From. He maked 2nd at worlds 2007 with his own SD "FlyCharge" He also managed to win the danish nats 05,06 and 2007..

Yamato. WC 04, top8 05 and 3rd 2007, need to say more?... :)

Top Player (US; all age groups):

For his great play in worlds ´04, ´05 and ´07

I surgest him for his originality and working for a whole year on his secret deck and then getting 2nd at worlds ´07

Top Player (US; all age groups):

Austin Reed

He has judged so many events here in Denmark and is very good as explaining to all players no matter age all the rulings so they understand it completly and know how to act in a similar case.

Top Deck:

Flycharge
Beeing the only SD in my eyes that did really well at worlds, getting 4 people in top 16
SpeedSpread

Rookie of the Year:

Steffen Eriksen/SuperE
He has only played for few years and made the invite to worlds on ranking. Got top 16 in master.

Rookie means this past season was their first year playing...not second or third or hundreth.

Wow, I knew getting front page exposure would get me some more hits, but I wasn't expecting this. Although this is what I wanted (an honest poll of the people most active in Pokemon), I wasn't expecting a full page of votes within a day of the front page link. That said, I'm updated through the C@b@l vote, and look forward to the rest of the votes I'll get through the 1st.

I also agree with Bolt's Rookie definition. Next year, If/when I do this topic, I am going to define these terms more thoroughly. This year, however, we are left with teh terms as is: open to interpretation. however, you do admit that it was just his first year at Worlds, not just his first year. That said, he has been moved to the Most Improved Catagory (where he'll probably have a better chance to win IMO). If there is a MAJOR objection to this, please let me know through PM. if I get enough response on the issue, it will be changed.

Continue voting until the 1st, when everything will be locked until the opening up of the Poke Gems Speeches thread. I'll be keeping tabs until then. hope to see more votes soon!
