No problem dude.

Hey guys!! I took some of your advice and added some cards in for more consistency. Here it is.

Pokemon - 13
2. Emboar 20 BLW
1. Emboar 19 BLW
2. Pignite BLW
3. Tepig BLW
2. Reshiram BLW
1. Reshiram Promo
1. Reshiram Full Art
1. Bouffalant BLW

Trainers - 34
3 Pokemon Collector
3 Professor Juniper
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
2 Fisherman
3 Energy Retrieval
4 Pokemon Communication
2 Plus Power
3 Pokemon Reversal/Catcher
3 Junk Arm
3 Rare Candy
2 Switch
2 Dual Ball
1 Flower Shop Lady

Energy - 13
12 Fire Energy
2 Double Colorless Energy

I'm really liking Dual Balls in here. I played a couple of pick up games with a shop owner tonight (starting up another league), and It proved to work out pretty well for me. I don't know if I'm sold on FSL yet. I have to do more testing, with a better partner. No offense, but he only had a starter deck. The games were more of a "see how fast I can set up" type deal. Both games were over quickly. I felt kinda bad, because I didn't bring a lesser sup par deck to play him with, but I was out all day, and I hadn't been home since 7 this morning. (gotta make some more league decks)

Well, the Dodrio and Flowsrhop Lady are used against Vileplume, so you won't deck out, because I play Juniper and Ninetails and Sage's, but Copycat might work better.

So, I've been trying out your list, and I'm not getting the consistent draw that I get with Ninetales. I'm sure it works fine for you, but for the rest of us.... we need that magic fox to get our decks rolling.

Hmmm....... ok. I haven't been able to do much testing since monday. I'll take that into consideration when I play again. I'll test both lists if I can, and see which one works for me best.

I play a similair build and been play testing it a lot. And I am either going to take it to Worlds or use my back up deck but I am 50/50 on it but here is my list and it sets up amazingly.

Pokemon - 16
2. Emboar 20 BLW
1. Emboar 19 BLW
2. Pignite BLW
3. Tepig BLW
4. Reshiram Full Art
2. Cleffa ( this card is great in a deck that has a stage 2 because you need consistant hand refresh.)
1. Top half of Rayquaza & Deoxys Legend
1. Bottom Half of Rayquaza & Deoxys Legend ( this card I have found to be the best in our format because after you KO for pokemon you bring this up and KO a pokemon for the game. It helps against the speed decks like Mega/Zone.

T/S/S- 29
4. Pokemon Collector
3. PONT
4. Energy Retrevials
1. Burned Tower ( I have found this to be better then Fisherman. I am not a fan of Fisherman because it takes your 1 supporter for the turn.)
3. Rare Candy
4. Pokemon Communication
4. Junk Arm
2. Switch
4. Dual Ball

Energy- 15
10. Fire
3. Lightning
2. DCE

But sense I know how much you love your girl your going to marry named Juniper. You could drop 2 Cleffa, 1 Pokemon Communication, and 1 Lightning energy to add in 4 Junipers hope this helps

If you have RDL, you don't need Emboar #19. I think you need more draw power in here. 3 PONT'S is not enough. Cleffas will help you some, but not like pure draw will. I would max out PONT, and throw in 2 Juniper. I'm sorry, but I rather play fisherman than something you have to flip to get an energy back. Sometimes you need more than 1 energy on 1 turn.

Fisherman is perfect for that. When you're already set up Collector will be dead, and You won't need PONT right away. So you can get those energy back with Fisherman, and power up Reshiram for a KO. Also, if you're maxing out Collector, then you don't need Dual Balls. Replace them with 2 PlusPowers and 2 Pokemon Reversals.

I hope this helps you in making it more than 50/50, because if you're playing it for worlds, you can't go there half minded on a deck. They'll have the best players in the world, so you have to get it right.

 I've already married her. she's the best, really. 1 Cleffa isn't bad though.

P.S. I LOVE your sig.

Well I have studied past decks that have won Worlds having a way to get your pokemon is a must and with everything maxed out to search through the deck it thins it and allows me to draw what I need. I have made my decision on which deck to play for Worlds and been play testing the heck out of it xD but thanks for your help I will try out your suggestions though

What part of my signature do you like? Just random things I found funny I had to share with the Pokemon Community. Haha

P.S. I hear that your new wife is a gold digger and likes to be played with hopefully she isn't just using you for a few years then rotates out of your life. But Congrats on your new marriage best of wishes to the both of you.

OMG!! I'm still laughing from t-dawg's post.

Here's my report from tonight.

I played with the Ninetales build at league tonight. I faced 2 different Yamega decks. 1 was your standard Yamega/Donphan/Zoroark, and the other was Yamega/Vileplume/Tech. I played 2 games against the first one. The fist game I drew, and opened terrible, I couldn't get anything going, so I scooped within a couple of turns. The next game I was able to set up my bench, but there were a couple of turns I could not draw :fire:. So I had a dead Ninetales down there. Then he got lucky with some Reversals, and getting Junk Arm when he needed it, so I lost that one too.

Against the Yamega/Vileplume/Tech deck, he gets lucky off a Judge, and gets a T2 Vileplume out!! I should have scooped right then, but I continued to play it out. I was able to get out Ninetailes, 2 Tepig, and some Reshirams. But, with the trainer lock I could not search for Pignite, nor use Rare Candy to go to Emboar. I went through the whole game without Emboar, but was still able to keep it even in the prize race until the end.

There were many turns where all I drew were Trainers which was bad. I was able to finally get a pignte, and a Emboar 20 out. I was so desperate, that I had to attack with it as my last hope. He couldn't KO it, so he was hoping for a Reversal to take the game on his next turn. Well, he got it, and the flipping flip too.

Looks like I just lucked out tonight. Ninetailes was just ok tonight. It was dependent on energies at times. It did help me in setting up, and getting what I needed in some situations. But in that last game it really hurt to discard energies, because I could only attach them 1 at a time. And I couldn't use Energy Retrieval to get my energies back. Thank God that I played with 2 Fisherman in my deck, or I would have been out of the fight a long time ago.

1 good thing about tonight was that my wife, Professor Juniper was magnificent!! She helped me out of sooo many jams, that it wasn't even funny. A T2 plume IS lucky, so I know that I would have done better if that didn't happen. This is what I played with tonight.

I don't know if this will help, or work. So, I want to know what you guys think about this.

Glad to hear you got a kick out of my joke. And way glad to hear your wife helped you get out of some predicuments isn't that what women usually do. Us guys get into some trouble and the women have to get us out of it. Anyways I hate Ninetails but I do think if your going to play with it then Professor Elm's would be a great play.

Hmm... I always feel that 14 energy cards seem to be the standard. To me, Dual Ball seems to be an extra you can omit, and it sacrifices reliability in exchange freeing up one's Supporter for the turn. If I were to have one set of trainers that would rely on coin flips, I would go with Reversal and leave it at that. Doing so reduces the amount of luck I need for my deck to work and betters my odds of winning. As for using straight draw cards, I seem to be absolutely fine with just using three, whether it be Juniper, Oak, Sage, or even Engineer's Adjustments (and barring Ninetales and search cards like Pokemon Collector).

Maximizing consistency is key for this deck, so do max out on Pokemon Collector to have the most optimal way of searching out basics. Maximize Junk Arm to take full advantage of everything your deck has to offer Trainer-wise. As for Communication and Elm's Training Method, you can go with a 3/1 split or just 4 of the former. With Oak and Juniper, I would suggest trying 3 of one and none of the other or going for a 2/1 split. As for myself, I often times find I have cards I would not rather get rid of so soon, so Engineer's Adjustments suited my style quite nicely, providing me explosive draw coupled with Ninetales.

...and just for the heck of it, I would try the 3-1-1/2 Emboar line. Many I've played against have gone this route for their stage 2s and it doesn't seem to hamper them at all, though I can understand with trainer lock still around, that extra Pignite can be a lifesaver.

I'll take out the Dual Balls and Put in a collector. I might add back in Reversal though. Going 3 Juniper sounds pretty good. I might try that.

I hope I can get the 4th Junk Arm soon. I had 4 Communication in here, but I got wrecked by Vileplume yesterday, so I think I'll keep that like it is for now.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to be trying that anytime soon. Sometimes you can evolve into Emboar just as fast with pignite. Thanks, I'll change some of this stuff around when I get them. Other comments in bold.

Yeah, she's a lifesaver. Aurea doesn't like Ninetales either. She wants to be the only one that I need to rely on. Yup, Juniper is jealous

Just for that, I'll try the extra Pignite myself. I'm sure it would hurt for me to try the old 3-2-3 line.

Don't you mean wouldn't?

Gosh women these days got to be so jealous. Oh well it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that she is the only one that wants to support you. Haha Its great to hear that your deck is working much better though.

P.S. Sense you are playing 2-3 Juniper does that mean you have 2-3 wives or do you consider them all to be just one?

 It's working nicely I must say.

Me having 2-3 just means the number of times she helps me during the game. Sometimes, all it takes is 1 push, and I'm off to the races. Other times I might be desperate, and need her help again. I can't do it alone. Having someone with you supporting you like that boosts your confidence, and lowers the stress on your mind. Especially If I'm playing a good player, and they're trying to sack the crap out of me.

She wouldn't like me having 3 wives, even if it's her twin, or tripplet.

Nah, I gave it some thought and wanted to try dropping in that 2nd Pignite.

Oh, ok. Cool. 171717171717

Play 2 Professor Elm's Training Method, add in 1-1 Dodrio T2 Vileplume is not that uncommon. Especially if they play Juniper. I would not max out on Juniper, 2 or 3 is enough. You can play 4. Tyrogue would be an interesting with Ninetails.

I'd play 1, he's playing other searching cards.

I don't like Juniper, sorry... xD

It's the discarding part I hate... I'd much rather play PONT and get some of the good cards in my hand back...
