Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

This should be the best deck out right now. I'll explain why, LMK what you think!

What do you guys think about ninetales? Since my main attacker is Blaziken ex, should i play 2/2 ninetlaes or stick with 3/3?

Being serious here, copycats are not so great in this format, 4 wont be necessary, What about pokemon reversal/energy?

Copycats can pull off huge hands against mirrors or BAR.

totally agreed. against mirror fights (75% of the community), copy cat is a invaluable aspect to this deck.

75% of the community? wow you dont even know where im going but anyways im sure thats not the case. I like 3/3 ninetales, still. And 2 copycats seems like a good number anyways. Once you get the big hand youll just delcatty/oracle/tv reporter etc.

Ok Joner, so what exactly is the most popular deck being played these days? Im pretty sure it involves blaziken and delcatty draw - which is EXACTLY WHAT I SAID aka MIRROR matches. and btw i didnt say add 4 - i only agreed to having copycats in your trainer selection thx

Ok genius, first off, you said that 75% of the people will play it. That is total overestimation, for my area anyways. It is the most popular deck among players, but im not sure 75% is the right number. Secondly, my question was should i remove 1 vulpix and one ninetales, and then we got into the discusssion because jermy said to put +2 copycat. I have 2 copycat, and I think this is a good number. And sadly, I cant add 4 copycat, like you suggested, if i already have two in my deck. The maximum times a card can appear in a deck is 4 (cept basic energy, FYI). And if you read my topic, you wouldve noticed i already have 2 copycats. Please read the topic next time before posting.
Thank you,
Joner.

If you're coming to states, it's diluted with gardy (everyone has one here, and some even run it over blaziken), so even 2 copycat might not be the best idea. I still think ray is the best version out there, because blazi ex becomes the main attacker, and ray has a better chance against rogue.

Yeah Matt, but that was before Blaziken ex. Did you see how many people had or wanted them at the last 2 CCs?
Anyways I think you should play 3/3 Ninetales. It's just a safer choice and you don't want to depend too much on Blaze ex.

Alright, thanks, I think so too.

OMG thats so pwnage that everyone plays gardy there nice nice nice :D :D :D so ill pwn it. But i still think ninetales is better than rayquaza :p

If Blaziken ex didn't exist, you'd definitely be right, and Mudkip would definitely be famous.
Sorry, straight Blaziken/EX/Rayquaza is the deck that will win. Ninetales needs two turns to setup unless you've got a rare candy, and you'll be using those on Blaziken.

Therefore, if you still wanna play Niniken in this format, add a second Combusken (I think your original list only had one) to get 9Tales out fastah using rare candy to get 'round their BEX.

I don't plan on attacking blaziken ex with ninetales, i plan on attacking it with blaziken ex. Also, if you're talking about laying him down and doing the damage that way, even if you had 3 blaziken in play (what are the odds), the only way to KO a blaziken ex with full Hp is with multi energy. But hm, what looks more attractive to ko? A vulpix for one prize, or a 100 Hp rayquaza for 2.

:D down with rayex!

target choice is obv gonna be very important in blazex/ray vs blazex/nine

Thanks for the tip, Hero. But if target choice is so important, me personally, I would ko a rayquaza over a vulpix gladly.

yeah thats what I mean. I would ko a rayquaza over a vulpix too. Its just the smart kills in the game that wins :)
