got me #1 in APAC for the duration of cities and states as well as 3rd nationals last year.

Salamence...you got me my first city championship medal...you will always be my favorite...I'll take you out for one more flight in battle roads...

BLG....you were fun for about 3 tournaments, and you got me a city medal, then you just got boring....

KingdraChamp...you were great for a weird meta for a time...but then I listened to some bad internet advice and everything in the deck got screwed up....that was dumb of me...

Typhlosion/Typhlosion Prime/SF Bronzong/Rayquaza Deyoxes Legend...you got me a 5th place at a BR...and I think something similar to you will be great come next format!...minus typhlosion and bronzong...

Steelix...oh how fun you are....and you also won me a medal at citys...but only out of sheer luck from people dropping so I could top cut, that and a horrible misplay by my opponent who hadn't slept in 40 hours...but I'll take it! I squandered the points you gave me from that city run at states...and then realized that the format had almost tripled in speed when regionals rolled around. But you're still amazing, and I think you'll be played again some day soon.

Here we come BlastGatr, Reshiram rush, Kyogre Groudon Legend, and many other cool decks!!

Rest in Peace, Double Rainbow Energy, Shining Star of all of my greatest decks. May you one day be reprinted and shine again in glory.

Dearly departed we have gathered here to remember cards that have suddenly perished. But you have to remember that no-one that believes in our Lord shall die, but they shall live forever in His presence.

RIP Luxray/Infernape- My first invitation to worlds
RIP Gyarados- My first tournament win, my first donk, and countless top cuts dating to this year's cities. This one I will miss the most.
RIP Blaziken FB- My first x-o drop
RIP All the shenanigans in my SP toolbox- My first rogue deck to make top cut, and eventually my first trophy
RIP Gengar SF- My first states win
 
The only card that I care about this rotation was Unown Q. The card felt perfectly balanced and, now, without it, I'm missing something. It remedies getting the wrong starter and is overall good. The donk factor was worth it. There are a lot of other good cards that will be missed, but Unown Q feels like the one that I'll truly dread not having. We will adjust to the new metagame without Uxie, Sableye, Spiritomb, Ebelt, etc... but Unown Q... man... that is a big loss. Without Unown Q, Smeargle is a lot less playable. Collectoring for a free retreat felt very good... Unown Q also allowed pokemon with 1 retreat cost to be very competitive. Can't believe THAT is the card that I miss the most... but it feels like there's a hole in my decks without it :'(
 
Hahahahahhahahaha. I knew that luxray x would be gone. Everybody said " theorymon" to me when I said it would be gone. Look who got the last laugh. Hahahahahahaha. Lol
 
^What does that even mean? Check your definition of "theorymon"... you're doing it wrong. Luxray X was bound to go sooner or later. Anyone who disagreed either started DP-on or is a fool. Moreover, Luxray X was bound to lose popularity as the new GoW came out. Calm down and take a chill pill ;D
 
RIP Gengar SF and Porygon-Z LvX
Gengar got me my 1st top cuts since coming back from a 2 year break amd Porygon was one of the most fun decks that I ever played!

Saving 1 copy of Gengar and my Porygon-Z LvX to put next to my Gardevior and Gallade from SW =(
