If time travel exists, why aren't my grandkids visiting me every weekend? They don't even care *sobs*
Well, if it does exist, there are probably some PRETTY strict laws on it with some HEAVY penalties. If time travel exists, why aren't my grandkids visiting me every weekend? They don't even care *sobs*
Time travel is impossible period.
Forward in time, in the movies you "disappear in a flash of light" then reappear in the future. This would not happen, the only way to travel to the future would be to freeze yourself and actually be able to thaw yourself out and live in the distant future.
Actually, that's called suspended animation, not time travel....
Time travel is impossible for us because the amount of power needed to make a worm hole is to great for us to even atemtp. Time is a matter and we can go though it just we'll never have the power needed on Earth. If we ever made that type of power here the Earth would not be able to withstand it. For one preson to go anywere in time that and present then all life that we now would be gone. If we're able to put it in space then we'll have more of a chance because there less metter in space there we'll wouldn't have to worry about the force that would be pulling and pushing on that metter around the machine. Maybe element 116 would be able to help us power the machine. Just a thought.
What kind of grade do you get one a essay that even the teacher does not understand?
I'm sorry.... WHAT??!!
Time is not a matter..... nothing is matter... matter is it. Technically time is not real.... it is only threads of a uknown flux make.
Oh yeah and how would Ununhexium (I'm doing IGCSE chemistry) help a time machine?? Ununhexium (I'm gonna call it U) is a radioactive isotope, and can bond with it's atomic number being 124 and 122 and can remain stable for about 6 seconds before falling apart.... it's a synthetic material meaing generally it's ions will be positively charged, but if bonded the ions will retract. So no, I'm sorry it just won't help at all. It can;t even be found.... Don't test me.
How did scientists found out what times is? You say time is not real and I concur with that, but then you say it's only threads of an unknown flux make, which makes it something. That part get's me confused.
So someone explain why stuff like time dilation works at all? We have to be messing with something for something like that to happen.
Not necessarily. What if time travel is possible and everything dies before it is developed?
Oh boy.... here comes the really complicated part.... I'll try to make it easier. Time is not anything but scientists called it something because, well... no.1 they're not entirely sure it isn't anything and it's a whole lot easier saying it is something when talking about it than saying the thing that is not real. But time threads are smaller than atoms, half atoms, neutrinos or quarks it is supposedly a concentration of photons which bond to become ionated, the problem is that photons have no mas or ions so therefore cannot bond.... scientists are trying to find out how they became ionated. CONFUSING!!!
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
WHY?!! WHY?!!
Nah, I'm only kidding, this is where it gets fun. Time dilation is basically when time seems to be slower for something else, such as, the most common examples: clock. 2 indectical clocks set at the EXACT same time, but one is going slower. This may seem impossible because YOU SET THEM AT THE SAME TIME!! and THERE ELECTRONIC THEY HAVE TO KEEP A STEADY TEMPO!! Now before you start screaming witch and lobbing rotten veggy at your monitor you need to understand this: Einstein states Time Dilation as a Special Relativity which means that their inertial system is running slow, also known as the Lorrentz Theory (Not sure how Lorrentz is spelt, think that is it). Inertial systems are how things run and I mean ANYTHING this explains how forces like centrifugal force (when something spins really fast and matter is pushed to the sides). Then there is General Relativity which is whn the clock has more GPE (gravitational pontential energy) than the other due to the mass realtive of the core (or gravitational source) of the Earth.
There you go.... now my fingers hurt! lol
^ I actually know a few people who don't get the whole timezone thing...
