Round #1 Entry for Team Cac-Turne

Sidney's Cacturne Done by: Cardz5000
Cacturne (D) HP 90 lv. 68
Stage 1 - evolves from Cacnea

Picture: Cacturne is shown mid-air performing what will shortly become a spinning kick after having just jumped off the wall of Sydney's elite 4 room. He is holing onto his "hat" with one of his hands as thought it might fly off from the rapid movement, only one of his yellow glowing eyes is visible from beneath the brim. Sydney can be seen in the background just leaning against the wall seemingly uninterested in the battle, but this just shows that he trusts Cacturne to be able to handle this match on his own.

(D) Poison Volley 20
Flip two coins. If one is heads, pick poisoned or burned, the Defending Pokémon is now affected by that special condition. If both are heads, pick either poisoned or burned, and either asleep, paralyzed, or confused. The defending Pokémon is now affected by both of those special conditions. This attack does 20 damage minus 10 damage for each heads flipped in this way.

(D) (C) (C) Relentless Assurance
Put 3 damage counters on the defending Pokémon for each special condition on it. If Cacturne has any (G) energy attached to it and the defending Pokémon would be knocked out by this attach, you may move any damage counters not necessary to knock out the defending Pokémon on one of your opponent's benched Pokémon instead.

Flavor: After many years of training and battling as an Elite 4 Pokémon, Cacturne expels a different type of poison.

Weakness: (R) x2
Resistance: None
Retreat cost: (C)(C)

Wattson's Electrode Done by: Cardz5000
Electrode (L) HP 70 lv. 31
Stage 1 - Evolves from Voltorb

Picture: Electrode is seen in a power plant with many tricks and puzzles. Wattson is seen in the background pointing and shouting to attack something in the distance.

PokéPower - Power-Up
Once during your turn (before you attack) you may flip a coin. If heads, you may attach a card from your hand to one of your Pokémon face down. Treat that card as a Special Energy card that provides Energy of the same type as the Pokémon it is attached to (all if there are more than 1) but only provides 1 energy at a time, it has no effects other than providing Energy.

(L) (C) (C) Zap Cannon
You may put a number of Damage Counters on the defending Pokémon up to the number of Special Energy cards you have attached to all you Pokémon. For every 3 Damage Counters placed in this way (rounded down), put 1 Damage Counter on Electrode.

Flavor Text: It stores electric energy under very high pressure. Because of this, it can explode at Wattson's command.
Weakness: (F)

Steven's Metagross Done by: DCP
Metagross (M) HP 120 lv. 71
Stage 2: Evolves from Metang

Metagross is squatted with its stomach touching the PokéBall pattern in the middle of the room, right arm fully extended and glowing in preparation for Meteor Mash. Its eyes are staring at what appears to be Skarmory and are dilated into a smaller, rage-esque size. Steven is in the right corner, shouting and pointing his hand at his Skarmory.

PokéBody: Hellbent Ambitions
Each of your Metagross's attacks do 30 more damage to the Defending Pokémon. (Before applying Weakness and Resistance.) You can't use more than 1 Hellbent Ambitions PokéBody each turn.

PokéPower: Thinking Cap
Once during your turn, you may challenge your opponent. If your opponent accepts your challenge, place a pokémon from your hand face down next to Slowking. Your opponent guesses what type that pokémon is is. If your opponent guesses incorrectly, return the Pokémon card to your hand, and treat all energy attached to all your pokémon as (P) until the end of your turn. I like the picture and flavor text you made up better than mine so use that.

I have edits also.
Slowking:

Image: Slowking stands, determined-looking, in the foreground. Liza is visible in the background, as well as the left side of the Mossdeep City gym arena. If you line up the Slowking and Xatu cards side by side, Slowking's card forms the left half of a complete picture.

Poke-Power: Thinking Cap
Put a card from your hand face down. Your opponent guesses if it is an energy card, a trainer card, a supporter card, a stadium card, or a pokemon. Flip the card over. If your opponent guessed correctly, they may draw three cards. If your opponent guessed incorrectly, all energy in play count as :psychic: . Either way, return the card to your hand.

Xatu:

Image: Xatu stands in the foreground, emitting a purple aura. Tate is visible in the background, as well as the right side of the Mossdeep City gym arena. If you line up the Slowking and Xatu cards side by side, Xatu's card forms the right half of a complete picture.

^Picture reminds me of the Flaffy SW and Flaffy pop6, and the Porygon and Porygon2 promos that also make pictures when placed side by side.

Sorry guys, but I couldn't get on in time to edit. I think everything is good as it is. HOWEVER, next time I think ALL of us should be on at the same time so that we can do a Final look over of the cards.

or one person in charge of getting on at midnight.

Because I'm pretty unhappy with what got turned in for my cards.
Oh well!

He said they could be organized meaning that any edit posted before his declaration (meaning mine and anything before it) can be applied, if I'm not mistaken.

This is false. I meant, after that post, all you could do is organize your cards into one post, then tell me which post.

I'm on my phone right now so it's a little hard to check things, but my post to update the flavor text on Cacturne was before your post on the main thread if I recall correctly, I'll Check things when I get home, but either way, I doubt the changes will have any considerable effect on the outcome.

If what Kayle said in the main thread is true, then THIS is the FINAL post

Next round, I will make sure that my entry is in much earlier. I would have been earlier, but I was visiting my dad for Christmas, and he doesn't have a computer. So, I had to wait until I got home, and I posted as soon as I possibly could have.

Thanks for the post explaining, but it would have been better if you had warned us a little earlier. Also, it was 8:30 at night EST so I was starting to worry and updated a card my self

I did make a slight warning on post #39 on page two. I wasn't too clear, but I did mention that I would not have internet access.

But what's past is past, let's just win this contest and have fun.

Sorry thunder. I didn't see your post. I guess I must have thought that since you posted saying you would do magcargo, I expected it to get posted a day or two after you confirmed.
But,
