The person who has the latest loss has the most potential for the highest Op. Win%. At the start of the tourney if you keep winning you're simply dealing your opponents their first loss (unless you play down records, that will screw you every time if you can't keep a good enough record) and thus, if they keep winning they'll have a good Win% to contribute to your Op. Win%. Now, lets say you lose your first two and then continue to win, at this point you're dealing every opponent past this point their third loss (unless you play up/down records, obv) which means no one except your first two oppenents could contribute anything better than a 50% Win% to your Op. Win% in a 6 round tourney, probably less from most.sdrawkcab said:ok put it this way...
In a tournament with 6 rounds, 8 players are tied for 4th at a record of 4-2.
The players who one more games in a row at the start would have higher OP Win %. for exzample...
players who went 4-0 then lost the last 2 would naturlly have a higher win % than those who won 3 lost 2 and won the last game....
Tho this is not ALWAYS the case, its a good rule of thumb to follow for quite counting
what? i guess a bye would be good if i didn't win anything yet...but it always looks like previous tourneys affect my resistance.Professor_Chris said:Good Record>Good Resistance
