1: lucario with empoleon isn't the way to go. i'm enjoying my 1-1 infernape line atm.
2: mario isn't a deck, so it can't physically be the way to go.
3. the tongue is with a P, not a b.

In all seriousness Zach, as long as Team HB keep winning tournaments with their TRUK decks (something which won't stop anytime soon), people will continue to ask the same question over and over until we are driven insane.

If there isn't a TRUK engine, then focus on the engines the TRUK decks run. What trainers do you think they run for Blissey/Electivire? What trainers do they run for Rampardos? What about for Blissey/Lucario? Blissey Solo. There is still a topic for this thread if people don't want to be believe there is a single TRUK engine.

Like the way good players build decks, they're different. You just don't pick an engine and use only that in your deck, you pick the cards that fit the deck best. The only thing that attaches them to truk is the team they came from. You might not run steven in a delcatty deck but you might in an aggressive deck with less support pokemon. You'll run more pluspowers in a ohko based deck but you don't with a spread. You run crystal in an aggressive deck but you don't in something that sets itself up. That's the way it always works.
