Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

TRUK Engine

there are always wannabes who wish that they were good enough to get on team hb, and thus will make their own truk decks
these people are to be pitied, for they cant come up with their own deck catch phrases

im waiting for TRUK TRUK >.>

I hope i get to play against a real TRUK deck one day : (
I want to get run over by THE *insert random name here* TRUK!

i think it's the fact that people just think that anything blissey is called a TRUK deck.

is fire TRUK supposed to be the new magmortar?

or the new zard? (even though it sort of sucks)

I can niether confirm nor deny that fire truk will involve either charizard or magmortar

really, well considering you denied all others blank, it's a possibillity.

although, could it be the new flareon?

btw, i actually thought of bliss/mag SW a while ago, so it poped into my head.

TRUK does not indicate Blissey.

Stop guessing. There are so few players on HB relative to the amount of people on pokegym... you'll know what Fire TRUK is after cities start. I honestly can't believe no one has gotten it right yet.

Not that, um, you guys could make your own decks or anything... for all anyone knows, half these TRUK decks could be a hoax.

Please spell intelligent correctly when you call in to question another's intelligence.

Oh, and on topic: if you really want a superior trainer engine for your deck, the best way to go about getting one is to play your deck often and try to identify what works and what doesn't. Then change your deck a little and play it some more. Don't be afraid to try new things and keep an open mind: there are plenty of trainers out there that you have probably overlooked in the past because they weren't useful in last year's format or you were still sticking to the remnants of your old trainer engine for this year's format. Keep playing your deck as you make changes and keep identifying strengths and weaknesses and eventually you'll have something that works very well.

Gotta clean up a lot of spam in this thread. A few comments though.

Team HB, sorry, but you can't stop people from making new decks and naming them ___ TRUK. You were some of the people that started the TRUK idea, and now you will run into problems because of it. It's stupid...not it's beyond stupid, and you'll see why people hated it sooner or later.

All messages not pertaining to the TRUK engine will be deleted. So expect to see this thread cut down a bit.

This is a great post!

This is exactly what team HB did after worlds, and the results were great. At least there are some people who are thinking straight on this board.

people who name their decks truks who arent on team hb are funny
they think that by naming their decks ___ truk, they are remotely good players, when in reality, they are simply unoriginal silly people who need their own tags

to all the pokegym who arent on hb: please keep naming your decks truks, i could use a good laugh at your expence, as could many of my friends

they want to name their decks truks? fine, it shows how unoriginal they are, and how not worth noting their existance is prime =/

as a side note, has anyone thought of SWAT truk as a deck name?

Thank you sir. And congrats on those results; you all have very impressive records.

And on the subject of TRUK to ensure this doesn't get deleted as spam:
In my personal experience with BlissCatty, the trainer engine should look something like this:

3 Mentor
3 Celio
1 Bebe's Search
4 TV Reporter
4 Castaway
2 Strength Charm
2 Buffer Piece
2 Pluspower
3 Windstorm
1 Night Maintenance/TSD

But it varies depending on your techs, how many Catty EX you use, whether you use happiny, and how many holon energy tricks you use. If you only use FF/fire/fighting for a very anti-blissey metagame, you probably don't need maxed out castaway. If you use sableye(s) and happiny you might want a fourth mentor.

I really like non-supporters in Blisscatty, like Great Ball and Master Ball. Personally, I don't play Mentor. It slows the deck down IMO.
