Hands up!! I was wrong! I spoke to Carl earlier and he confirmed that each location is to hold only one CC. Although he did say that the large Cities could probably hold more than one as long as they were in different venues. Also later next year (march/april) there will be a couple of big tourneys to boost the ranking qualifiers( regionals, I guess!)

So will that mean less CC's this year? Also will that mean less places at Nats (assuming they're not open).

I think basically Justin ,yes and yes!!! It looks definitely that there are less CC's and as I understand it there will be less places at nats making it a smaller and "more exclusive" event. They are making it more difficult to qualify so in theory we should have just the cream playing. Guess that leaves me out then!!! Lol

P.S. Please note due to a double booking the Norwich CC will now take place on the 10 Dec and NOT the 3 Dec.Sorry for any confusion.

awww dam that means i wont be qualifying for nats this year wat a shame

Just because there maybe only one allowed in each town does not mean less CC's - Just that TO's have to work harder..

I am already planning Guildford after Xmas - and for Rainham and Gillingham CC's too.

London Regionals will be happening when we get some details from TPfG I think you may find just as many opportunities to play ..

Maybe we'll see Martin getting out of Norwich and into other carrot crunching locales? Brighton CC again anyone and there are new Leagues and Shops that may want to run them too...

Half Empty not my glass - definitely HALF FULL! :D

Watch this post ...

Well hopefully Southampton players will get off their bums and get down to Bournemouth as for Bristol .. I may have a plan for there too later on next year..

I will be hunting for locations and trying to spread some CC love around the UK .. so if you know a local hall, community centre, scout hut, etc.. PM or email me !

Sunday is definitely on - We open the doors at 12pm (NOON) and tournament will start around 1pm - trust me Ben you'll make it from the station to the hall in under 2 mins let alone five and there is always a little stretch to best laid plans on timings.. take my number with you and give me a call if you are going to be late arriving ..

Prize support has yet to arrive but in the abscence of anything from TPfG will we provide the booster pack prizes from stock.. I will be chasing TPfG again today.. but should the prize support not be with me in time then we will get Promos to you by sending them via your local League Leaders and/or directly to you.

If you win your age group I will ask TPfG to dispatch the winners packages to you directly - But they still have today and tomorrow to get the prizes too me so fingers crossed :D

Pokemon CC on SUNDAY 19 NOVEMBER is GO!

Be there or be a four sided thing with equal sides and right angles..

Regarding Southampton CC

There will be one probably towards the end of January - Still trying to sort out a venue.
I am also planning a CC in Basingstoke and again this is TBC whilst I sort out a venue.

Watch this space for details

Eep, just saw this! Don't suppose there could be a bit of negotiation so that it doesn't conflict with our Unseen Forces post-release on the 16th? We've had this planned quite a while you see, and obviously some players will be wanting to go to both events! Get in touch if you want, you have my phone number/email!

Many thanks!

I'm not involved with the organisation of that event, I'm merely the messenger

However fanboy3 is a large shop in a city, running a massive amount of OP. I can't see them changing this for your reason! You're welcome to try...
MG

Well if he can't, he can't - and fair enough. Its just I know some players from manchester were planning on coming over to ours, and some playerer of ours were planning on going to the manchester CC, so obviously if we can get the maximum amount of players at both events it would be better for both!
Anyway, if you could PM his details across please, or pass on the message to him if you see him!

Cheers!

No, what I'm saying is its the shop's decision. Rod doesn't choose when their schedule is going to be free, he just runs the events, and hassling him is going to do no good at all - he has no say in it. You have the shop info you need, and you can look on their website yourself to see how jam-packed their events are. For instance, today:
