Side question about the 23rd:

Does anyone know how to get Rainham from Heathrow? This is for someone I know who may be coming along from the Czech Republic.

Heathrow is a bus ride from the Eton and Slough Championships that are coming up... may help.

Boosters Prize support now in. GJ on the thread 'pro.

Once again Battlenet let us use their facilities and a great CC was had by all! A slightly dissapointing turn out for a fairly important tourney but the players enjoyed a super day!

In the 10- age group my son Shaun Banham (PokePup1) took the spoils with a classic Blaze/Blaze ex/Rayquaza ex/Pidgeot deck which only lost once all day and that was to a water deck played very nicely by Daniel Holland. Shaun also took the overall tourney in a final place face-off with Stephen Green who played a superb tourney with a very well built Dk Dragonite/Dk Electrode/Rockets Sneasel ex deck. Shaun played against a couple of these decks during the day and the stadium card Mt.Moon was crucial in these match ups preventing a early set up with these Dark decks!

In the 11-14 age group Stephen Green took the honours only just missing out on the overall title which went to Shaun Banham (see above )

And in the 15+ group Adam Gadir narrowly pipped Tariq Sagiar to the post with a Dark deck with a couple of Togetics teched in there which wreaked havoc against some of the other Dark decks! Bruce Kelf also played very well all day and almost took the 15+ title but lost his final swiss match thus forcing a four way play off (Top 4 ) which Adam went on to win. Some extra prizes were given away for good sportsmanship which went to Mitchell Allen who, despite losing all his matches, never once whinged or complained and set an example to the other players! If there was a place at Worlds for the best behaved and nicest manner then Mitchell would take it hands down! Also a Pikachu World collection was given out to the overall winner Shaun, who promptly gave it to Bruce Kelf who he had beat in the final round of swiss which forced Bruce into the play off! A nice gesture from the overall winner! A thoroughly enjoyable tourney was had by all and now we look forward to our next CC on the 27 March.

You should know by now Ben, that computers are all double dutch to me!! Copy and paste- I thought that was a new flavoured sandwich!!

Okay winners at Rainham CC today were:

10 & under - Jake A (taking his second CC with Draggy)
11-14 - Shane Herridge (Gardevoir)
15+ - Geoff Woodhead (Gardevoir)

Can we have more winners from todays CC's gentlemen and ladies please ..

Eton wins =

10- only one entrant to sweep this one, Cleffa! ^_^
11-14 - only one entrant surprisingly, Robert Ross-Bush - GEX/BEX/MewtwoEX
15+ - Stephen Parnell - Mr Mime ex/Togetic/GengarEX

Well looks like the 23rd wasn't my day by a long shot. Hmmmm maybe the 30th if I can get my Dark Draggy deck finished >__>

2 days to go MoCE I hope we see you and whatever deck you are playing there :)

Ya I'll be there, will be running Dragonite if my cards from eBay arrive tomorrow morning, and if I get the 3rd Dark Dragonite and the 2 Dark Metals, which seems unlikely so I will be boring and use Blaziken again.

Although my Dragonite deck seems to be a whole lot better.

i am assuming now that winners of CCs can reenter another CC as long as a winner's place for Nationals gets passed down. I also am now assuming that last year's Nationals Winner's can replay in the CCs as long as the invite gets passed down again in the same manner.

Hi Freddy, Having spoken to TPFG in the last couple of days, that is correct. Winners can play in other CC's and they get the prizes (assuming they win ) but the invite to play at nationals devolves down to second place and likewise for previous years winners.Look forward to seeing you there if not before!

results from scottish city championship 2005

10-: Alastair (depsite being now in the 11-14 age category...tms problem i guess, used fire/electric)
11-14: Zack (fire)
15+: chris (crobat ex)

Next CCs for us are on 13th March at 2pm. Beforehand we'll have a Rochester Draft side event. Entry fee probably to be £5 for CC, £7.50 or something for Draft competition. More info as i get it.

Many congrats to my son Shaun Banham(PokePup1) on his win in his age group at the Gillingham CC on the 27 Feb. He went 5-1 and only lost to the eventual winner of the 15+ Dk Draggy done the bizzo again!! This was his second CC win and also was his last tourney in the 10- group as he turns 11 next week, so it was extra sweet! Well done to the other winners and also to Ben for another excellant tourney!! We'll draw a veil over my performance!! 'Nuff said!!
