UK Ex Delta Species Pre-release Tournament Dates and Details

We are very pleased to announce we will be running a Pokémon Ex Delta Species Pre Release at our High Wycombe venue on the 23rd October 2005.

Every player will get 6 boosters to build a deck out of and then have to play at least 4 rounds of the tournament. All players will get 2 additional boosters, a pre release card, badge and a special Pokémon item from Japan as your prize for playing.

Entry Fee:
Pre Release £15 - 6 Boosters Ex Delta Species
Drafts £10 - 5 Boosters of Ex Delta Species

Prizes:
2 Boosters and a special Pokemon item from Japan for all players
Special Release card for all players
12 boosters for every 8 player draft

News just in is that the planned reduction in Booster Prizes and replacement with goodies from Japan has been delayed.

So according to The Place for Games the prize support will be 4 boosters per player :D So it's more pokemon for you pounds.
 
uhm, question. I'm in Liverpool for a year from somewhere in Europe, and I really wanna go to a UK prerelease. But I'm totally clueless as to UK geography, so could anyone tell me if one of those pre-releases is within a 3/4-hour ride by bus or train from Liverpool? Would be much appreciated!
 
oh, wow, that's cool! I didn't think of checking Manchester first *facepalm* Now here's to hoping Manchester will have a City Championship as well.

Anyone know how I can get into contact with the TO? There's no phone number or email address or anything... And the time given is probably not correct... 1:00 AM? :p

TPFG pre-release is now being held at the Holiday Inn High Wycombe, which is just off the High Wycombe motorway junction.

Ditto. It really seems a bit too close for my wallet...that's why I'm judging most of ours...saving my money for london cc.
 
just to let you knwo ian, that myself and david wyatt are going.

Also, there is a possibility of alot of new players from the oaks school going tomorrow! Had a 21 player swiss tourney after school yesterday, and by the end, they were very keen! Main barrier will be a willing adult to take them and cost... But still, be ready for possibly a few new faces from my class tomorrow!
