what on earth?

we've just had a massive deoxys prerelease and we're getting another one in just 2 months?
aren't POP overdoing the new sets just a little? let us have a chance to collect the set before a new one comes out.
 
Nice, I had heard that the next set was going to come out around this time...since here in the states "APRIL" is the only month that we have nothing going?! Were as from "May - July" we're having OUR WORLD QUALIFIERS!!! Ooooooooh, can't wait!!!

With a street date of May 9th, EX Emerald Prerelease events can be held from April 30th until May 8th.

If you could let me know if you are interested in running an event, before March 18th, with details of Location and player numbers.

We will also, once approved. need the event to be sanctioned well in advance of the tournament date. So that all materials are received in time, and the events can be publicized correctly.

Dates were best estimates from TPFG. Having seen DaytonGymLeaders dates it seems like the pre-releases might get pushed into May. Spoke to Ben who spoke to Colin ( currently unwell): it now seems that the dates are pushed out by one week.

Doubt that I'll let you use my left over product Freddy :-D

Please note that due to a move the Gamers Guild are now running a day ahead of the published dates so the 3rd and 10th are now the correct dates :D

We're in the same bat venue, same bat time just a different day and different room too.. this time there's no stairs to climb :D
 
We' ve been given support for 18 players for each one so do come early to secure it. First is tomorrow (1st May), next is next Sunday (8th).

10.00am, Slough Burger King, 1st Floor, High Street Slough (3 mins South from the train station).

We have an amazing prize for overall first place.

1st falkirk prerelease is over, and i got some really BLING cards for the decks. if only i attended that state championship...

12 players, not bad for a Bank Holiday prerelease with the gorgeous weather.

Emma Bruce (London, 15+) played off for her n'th Prerelease title but it was not meant to be with Slough regular Jonathon Collier (15+) winning his first ever tournament. Emma beat Stephen Parnell (London, 15+) while Jonathon beat Andrew Pirrie (Slough League), the recent 11-14 London State Champion.

Excellent sportsmanship and well done to all players with two sisters trekking all the way from Brighton of all places... shame on you Oddish! They'll be here next week too.

Top prize included a HUGE Rayquaza Emerald Poster which I furiously traded back for a few ex-Pokémon, we'll recycle it back into the haul and have it for the best player next week. 24 players needed to reach our target, see you all on May 8th.

Oh, other players from Brighton! Please go on. On another note...

I would go to London to play but its cheaper to get to. If your lucky i will go next week to get my 1st prize.

24 players at Crawley last Saturday. bit down maybe the bank holiday or maybe exhaustion with all the recent events.

Crawley ... just 30minutes from Brighton
 
And Brighton is only about 49mins to london victoria, but due to delays you can normaly say about 60mins. Also Hove - Three bridges £3.75 child return train ticket. Hove - London Victoria £8.95 (exc tube). So why bother going to london when you can get better competition in sussex and also cheaper :smile:

2nd place at Crawley for me, very close though, and for someone who was ranked last in the UK for limited until recently.... oh wait I should've kept quiet about that.
 
Seems you guys had fun at round 1 of the Emerald pre-releases... I had fun too in Belgium on Sunday as you know (and if not, check out my report! :)

Remember Reading is on Sunday too.
