Do you use diamond encrusted two-ply or something? Anywho, I'd pay maybe $50-60 for a sheet tops, but even then I'd hesitate on it. I'd just want it to frame and put on my wall. So it's like a very expensive poster

dont even get me started on frames.
frames too are expensive.i can get em at a cheap price like about 20-25 dollars per frame and then about 10-15 in shippment because i cant get frames cheap here in ny i gotta get themshipped to me.
its expensive but its still cheaper then finding any frames here in ny.
ny is big for art so they asume art people are buying frames hence expensive.having themshipped to me is expensive but its still cheaper then ny.
so if i want fraes id rather have them delivered from another state.
AGAIN ANOTHER REASON WHY SHEETS ARE A RESPONSIBILITY.
HENCE WHY SHOW ME RESPECT IM THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THIS.
i gotta buy more frames soon.some sheets are too big that they have to be custom framed like the energy sheet i also have a neo common sheet thats too big that needs to be custom framed.
people show me respect alot of money and stress goes into frames alone.

You want respect just because you don't know where to find frames? lol. Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, or Target (even IKEA) sell good CHEAP frames. If you can't find the right size for a frame you can always find a close enough size and center the sheet with some black lining to give it a nice enough effect. I've seen several people make similar collectibles work this way. Custom frames aren't that expensive either if you know where to look (at least here in dallas)

this is ny we got small buinesses here dont got walmart or anything like that.
people have been demanding walmart for along time.
those othe rplaces that you mentioned are like 30 miles away or something.
it very far like upstate ny or something.
her ein ny is hard to get frames.
and why would you trust cheap frames to protect card sheets.
they will break easily.
but the point i was trying to say is that frames alone are a headache.
out of 30 shets i got maybe 12 frames some need custom framing but the normal frames that i use i need about another 8-10 or so more frames.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

crazy has alot of meanings to it ok.
it doesent mean im crazy it means i deal with other crazy people who love pokemon but are to stupid to understand anything they cant relate to.
you cant understand why i have sheets you cant understand why someone would pay 10.5k for a pre released raichu card just because oyu cant understand doesent mean were crazy it means were different.
different is not always bad.
in fact i bet me and willaim will be the most succesfull collectorsin our own right and in our own way.
so 20-25 dollars per frame + 10-15 in shippment it adds up to be alot.
then there are the sheets itslef to buy.
im saying is i deserve respect because im the only one that would do this.
to have 30 sheets that are different sizes and and different sheets and then to get frames its alot of work but i do it because i love sheets.
so if a single mother did all she could to give her kid a happy birthday with barely a budget all alone by herself just to do it because she loves her son you ouldent respect ll of her hard work and detication as a mother.
you would just dismiss it.like who cares.
im just saying its hard work but i do it anyway cuz i love these sheets.
no one else understands so who cares fine whatever.
im just saying alot of effort time and stress goes into it.as well as money it all adds up frames sheets shippment just ot take care of these.
i love these sheets because of sentimental reasons thats why i collect.

crazy your name says it all, mainly the prefix

I may be being a bit thick here but ny stands for New York right? Isn't that considered one of the shopping capitals of the world?

I can totally understand spending 10.5k on a Prerelease Raichu. If I had the money and means to track on down I would.

Will is probably one of the most successful collectors EVER. Along with Scott, John and Stephen, PokePop (from what Ive heard from others) and of course, good old Mozzy.

I really don't understand the connection.

My Collection DJ is actually quite small but quality makes up for quantity ;)

crazypokemon: a word of advice if you want 'respect' on the gym don't post 'tangled-threads' way too many of your threads/posts look like grammatical-vomit, no offense just constructive-criticism :)

Will: You're still one of the most successful collectors ever. I mean, not just the PR Raichu but University Magikarp, Players Club Umbreon and stuff too. All awesome. Same with the others, it's not the amount of cards that makes a collection great, it's the rarity of what's in the collection.

crazypokemon: Take Will's advice.

I'd give crazypokemon more respect if he respected the English language and used proper grammar and punctuation. His posts are hard to read.

Nice collection crazy, but help us out a bit.

Keith

I somehow missed this before so I'll comment on it now.

You're not the only one that does this. Alot of people have uncut sheets.
I've got one and I plan to have it framed, like PRGuitarman said, kinda like an expensive poster.

And I'm sure a ton of other people do the same, there are alot of uncut sheets out there, especially the Fossil one from what I've heard.

You're not the only one who has this so called "responsibility", and you chose to buy the sheets in the first place. It's good that you are taking care of them but don't go around demanding respect. If you didn't have the sheets someone else will and I'm sure they would look after them just the same.

Respect has to be earned, the more you demand it the less you will get.

Yes what DJ has stated above me about respect is aptly put. I honestly do not seek respect, if I did I wouldn't be 'wasting' my time and money on rare pokemon cards but rather would be trying to find a cure for all diseases or trying to help make the world a more peaceful planet.

Your concept of 'respect' and 'Divine-Providence' about yourself and these uncut sheets crazypokemon make people think 'okay....'

crazy what are you talking about? everyone and there mom knows you have sheets and like them. I would tell you that you are beating a dead horse but this has been going on for ages, there is no more horse you have talked about sheets for so long I don't even care at all about sheets. It is like your playing the same note on a guitar for months, I mean coldplay can do it but seriously we get it you have sheets, you want respect, your not getting it cuz they are worth as much as a booster box. You can't be respected like other serious collectors who put 10 years into their collection, just because you talk about how u like sheets doesn't make them any better or rarer. So the respect you get is probably what you deserve

I hope we don't all have to have put 10 years into our collections lol.
As long as we accept we aren't the best and continue the grow :thumb:

And I know what you mean Scott, his constant going on is starting to ruin the concept of sheets for me. Although he's started up the PMing again with apparently something else awesome that I have to guess at ¬.¬

God only knows what thats going to be. I wonder if Mozz has any of that nit spray left from when he blasted geri a few threads ago =P

haha yeah crazy and geri are very similar but the 10 year thing was for crazy because he compares sheets to trophies and cards way above sheets. Also he loves to say people don't understand why we would pay for sheets or 10.5k for pre raichu when he didn't buy a raichu and his sheets cost him under $100. He just defines overkill and yes hopefully mozz will come back from his holiday and sort out crazy's crazy comments like he did geri

I could understand buying one sheet or maybe two to display in the home as long as they weren't too expensive.
And I can definatly understand paying 10.5k for the Raichu, if I had that sort of money I would.

Hopefully in 8 and a half years I'll have some pretty impressive trophies or similar cards to show off.
Although for about 16 months of collecting I don't think I'm doing too bad.

And Mozz being on holiday makes sense. I did wonder how he had resisted commenting here yet lol.

Haha I just offered $20 and got declined. He's got Auto-decline on. Oh well, that's as much as I would have paid today.

And I totally agree with everything that has been said on this page about crazy's high-horse antics (that have been going on since around April). I am so glad I am not alone on this.
