Who knows when this game might come out....

Apparently there are talks going on within Nintendo on whether or not they should release the games here....so far positive news and feedback has been going around so everything looks good....

Unfortunately the US will not be seeing the games anytime soon :( I expect a summer or fall of 2004 release, it maybe that they will release the games during the holiday season.

......anyway more info has shown up on the so called "trainer tower" and there is apparent link with e-cards that are coming in 4 sets, each with a different format of battles. There is more info here if you need to know more. It's sort of similiar to the e-cards for ruby and sapphire and the upcoming colosseum!!!!

hey guys....

more news about the future of the remakes.....the prize list for the world championships in Aug 20-22 list both pokemon green and red as prizes. Wonder what's going on here. I thought they were gonna be blue and red here, but I guess we won't know for certain until we hear from NOA.

Also in other news, there is info on Deoxys and nice pics of it's 3 forms (I like the one without the tenacles or pointy head) and the possiblity of a never before seen pokemon ???? click here for more info.

I really would like them to keep the original colors as Red and Green. Made no sense to take the original Green version and change it to Blue when the original Blue version was very different. My guess is that if Fire Red and Leaf Green aren't released in the US by then, it'll probably be the Japanese versions. Just a thought.

I hope so too. I would really love to see a pokemon green in the US, not because I love green :)
but because I don't think anything needs to be changed.

There's no reason why they would change Green to Blue. They never "changed" the original Green to Blue, they simply released Blue instead of Green over here. Remember, Japan had three versions before it came over here. As I recall, Blue was more of an updated version of Red and Green with better sprites and such, so they may as well have saved themselves work and just localized the newer version and use its sprites for both versions. Obviously they won't need to do that this time.

I only disagree with that becuase the Squirtle-Blastoise line are among my favorite pokemon.... either way, hope they hurry and get it to us...

Blue was here, but it was extremely hard to come by. We really only had r/g.

More info about the elusive Deoxys and it's three forms

Apparently, these 3 forms mean something and each form is seen in each one of the games:

In flame red-Deoxys is in its attack form
In leaf green-Deoxys is in its defensive form(my fav of all the forms)
In Ruby/Sapphire-Deoxys is in its "normal" form (weird, what does that mean??)

NORMAL:Ballanced stats, higher speed then the other two forms.
FIRE RE: Higher attack/special attack, lower defense/special defense.
LEAF GR: Higher defense/special defense, lower attack/special attack.
