Total shootout in 10-. After the 4 round prelims, 4 out of the 9 players were 3-1. That left Drake and Ryan out with respectable 3-1 records. Sorry, guys:frown: 11-14 was a bit more clearcut with Nick undefeated in prelims at 4-0 and Devon, Bryan, and Hunter at 3-1. Nick went on to win with an undefeated 6-0 record (Devon did take Nick to game 3 in the finals. Great match, guys!!--maybe a prequel to Nats or Worlds??) 15+ cut to top 8, which put Greg, Danny, and Timothy in at 3-2. Spencer and Sarah had exactly the same record and 1st TB as Timothy, so 2nd tiebreaks were used--Timothy 53.6%, Spencer 48.8%, and Sarah 48%. That 8th spot was tough, guys!! When the battling was done, Erik had emerged as the second undefeated player of the day beating 7th seed Danny. Great job, guys!!

Hopefully I can find a way to Rockville. I may end up driving myself + a few others. We'll see. While I plan to get to Rockville, my decision will mostly be made on Saturday when I find out how many of my leaguers may go to Rockville. But the lure of getting to beat Mr. T is very tempting :wink:
