They got me back later for taking unposed pictures when I didn't know they were there... lulz.

Timmy F., can I get a ride to Glen Burnie? I will pay 5 dollars assuming at least 3 other people come because $20 is almost a full tank.

Almost a full tank?! In whose car?

Assuming 3 other people come. I can check at league this Thursday if anyone else is interested in going to Glen Burnie. There was a girl who came with us one time I can check with, but you still need 2 more. I can check with Jae but I think he needs a lot of modified cards. His deck was mostly printer-proxies.

EDIT: Ascension: I just noticed your signature. The_Gorn is so funny. I hope I don't again fall for the sneak-peak picture of the professor cup he posts every year :redface:

I'm JUST getting back from LUSBY ....

I tried to represent the MIDLO crew as best I could...

Wife got 3-2
Angelica got 3-2
I went 4-1 .. top cut...

I top cut 4th and lost to 1st place guy... who ended up losing finals to Pramawat.. he played TogeChomp! (y'all know Garch... he's got that thing hummin!)

Pramawat and Him were still playing when we left... (Pramawat was playing Regigigas)

Steven and Dean.. top cut seniors... of course...lol (way to rep VA fellas)

So... to NoVa .. and the Washingtons... WAY TO REP VA !!!!

And... David... you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Those guys at Lusby are a class act ALL THE WAY! We're going to attend every event we can in Lusby. We were very impressed by the hospitality and efforts by the Aarvarks...

Tim, you better include me and dean or we will hurt you so that's 2 more.

Rogue, it was LJ, Jacob, Dean and me in top 4.

Me and dean in a match and jacob vs. LJ. LJ and I won so we played top 2 and I won :)

The packs with me and LJ were a raichu, machamp, gigas lvl.x and a charmeleon and a charmander. (Talk about a rigged box XD)

3?! Lucario_EX, that is 4 because I don't want to get beaten up by 2 11-year-olds :redface: :frown:. Ascension, this is all your fault. I was going to have a peaceful ride into Glen Burnie *glares*. But Lucario_ex, isn't Glen Burnie a straight through drive for you? Wouldn't you have to detour into Vienna/Fairfax to get to us and then take time-out to sync meeting times?

Rogue_Archetype, it is surprising to see someone play Togechomp, isn't it?

Any news on the status of Warrenton chair-wise?
 
Warrenton always needs chairs. Bring chairs!! (I got 2 REALLY comfy ones from Costco this week so the TO/comp crew doesn't take chairs away from the play tables)

And congrats to Mr. W for the top cut at Lusby!! Team Ivy goes to MD, woot!!

The COOL thing is, IF my wife beat Pramawat (which she almost did.. had the Revenge Champ in hand and couldn't donk T2 for game .. candied to Revenge guy instead) we would've had both of us in Top cut. She would've been 4th in Top cut.. i would've been 2nd and there could've been a chance that it would've been a Washington final.

VISUALIZE IT... It was funny to see Pramawat with hands on head all stressed out across the table from Mrs. W. though... WHERE'S MY CAMERA!! She had him sweatin' for a minute y'all...[/I]

Darn right she does!

She's gone like 1-4 EVERY tourney for a year and took her medicine like a true sport.

She's endured people CHEERING and tossing up high-fives when they see themselves matched up w/ her.

She's put up with people GRUNTING like "aw man, I'll beat her but my resistance is SHOT now.. "

She gives all of her attention to Angelica's decks and builds with whatever is left after giving the cards to Angelica & the local kids and has been playing with a half-hazzard deck that was slapped together so she'll have something to play little kids with at league (since most of the older people feels she's not worth their time).

Now..

She finally sits down and makes an attempt to put something together that's competitive (and not merely "a league deck") and she's winning...

I'm CERTAINLY gonna make sure she gets her props. She's paid her dues and has been humble (sometimes even humiliated).

Sure. I'll toss her a cookie.

We good now Partner?

oh man, unsporting conduct is getting bad nowadays. I like to toss out warnings at league tournaments for that kind of behavior. Think I'll give out cautions at events I judge at if I see this.

Props to you. Your family has the best SotG I have EVER seen in my life. I love watching Angelica play, everytime I see her play she grows in the game and her improvements are noticeable. Your interactions and teamwork with your family are soooooo... awesome! I wish I had parents to help me in Pokemon like that...
