My juniors are still at the beginning of the learning curve?!?!?! .
*heh heh* I should probably check on this. I'm really more focused on that they know how to play rather than deck construction.
There is a small chance I will be at all 6 of these, but 4-5 is more realistic. It's looking like this for me:
09-20 Fred: Judging, I'll be there.:thumb:
09-26 Fairfax: Preregistered, I'll be there.
09-27 Midlo: I'll be there, gotta give head judge Leah a ride. This might also be a first for me. If Arron can't make it, it will be my first tournament playing with out Arron or Alex there. Man I feel old..:frown:
10-03 Warrenton: Most likely we can only make it to either or this weekend, but small chance we might make both or go to VB instead.
10-04 VB: See above.
10-10: Harrisonburg: Very likely but not definite yet.
Looking forward to seeing everyone to start the new season off with a bang! Even though I went 4-2 in swiss at both Nats and the Grinder, I fully expect to get beat down by all the VA masters to put me in my place. My only goal for the season is not to lose to Tim.:thumb: :thumb:
That's a pretty good goal to have--I'm a really good player  :thumb:My only goal for the season is not to lose to Tim.:thumb: :thumb:
That was back when 5 rounds for one division was a big event. Nowadays we're not surprised if one age group has 6 rounds. We've sure come a long way from that CC way back when in Stafford, haven't we?? Me playing a bad Salamence list, you a bad Flygon.... both of us there as players for our kids!!

JD never had any issue with deckbuilding, at least until the Supreme Victors prerelease! Still not sure what happened there! We'll be @ Fairfax though I won't be playing-I'm on the DL until October at least. Oh well...
But... wouldn't you have to LOSE a couple to be matched up against Tim F ?
ahahahahahaha
Just kidding man
Woo-hoo....Someone who might be at the Harrisonburg one!!! Everyone knows I'll be there... If your that close, perhaps you would be interested in coming to League....*S*
I'm not THAT close. It's like 40 minutes to an hour from my house. There's also a league in Front Royal which is only half an hour away, so if I were to go to league, I'd go there. But, I can't go to that one either because I have a thing I do at church on Wednesdays.
He could go 1-30 in the whole season, and it wouldn't matter as long as that 1 is me :lol:RA,
That was my point exactly, I expect to lose to everyone else, but not to Tim.
Fredericksburg attendance: 43!! fantastic turnout for its first-ever premier event!
Winners: Luke R (masters)
Steven Y (seniors)
Tommy B (juniors)
Arceus sleeves winner: Nicholas F
Arceus deckbox winner: Carter C
So close to a Fairfax league sweep.
Fredericksburg starts out setting the bar at a nice goal against last year's average for VA (41). It seemed like there were less than 43 people there. The store was a nice size which kept traffic flowing.
Had you won against Luke in top 4 than it would have been you and me in the top 2 so someone from your leauge would've won.
totally forgot you were a master now. lol
So you got top 2 your first time in the masters, great. More competition. :frown:
j/k It's nice to hear that you did well, keep it up and come to Midlo so I can play you.
Also come to Harrisonburg. No reason that you need to know of.
