Virginia's Autumn Battle Roads 2008!--Now with Photo Link (end of thread)

if i do horrible with my decks the first few brs, i might nto even bother to come to anymore for this br season, :O probably not but if i had plans the next few weeks i might not come...

some easy money if i sell all my victory medals xD

W00t! Snow peas(who knows how many he has)!

Question, Is Hobbies etc. a big place? I do remeber you telling you visited the palce(when it was a different store)

Yay! Now I can own steven!(Unless he owns me in Mario Kart first!) :D

I will probably soon be able to confirm which ones I'll be at.

And Steven, if I go to Midlo, maybe you can tag along too.(don't start asking for rides, people!)

dean might be able to come again too.(But this is only IF we can go.)

I hope every BR has 30 peoples so i have a chance to win snow peas.

Is it the same Warrenton place?

Any of my BRs with over 30 players will have a set of Shaymin sleeves among the door prizes!!
So, all of them?

charchar, please, use one of my decks--Ascension and I can put one together for you :thumb:.

Same exterior physical space, new owner, redone interior. I'll ask Mary about capacity and post here.

OK. Change of plans. I won't be going to Woodbridge. But, I will be going to Warrenton and Fairfax.

I still might need a Claydol, If anyone could lone me one.

Also, Totoro. Assuming there's no Errata on it, what will the ruling be for TM TS-1?

I'll probably have a spare Claydol for the Saturday Battle Roads.

Charchar, don't listen to them. Shadowcard's just jealous of your skillz.

Oh, and Shadowcard, it's Laptop as in it sits on your lap. A labtop is, well, maybe that black thing that dominates most science labs.....

I was unaware that there was any controversy surrounding TM TS-1. Is it the lack of the one-and-done use clause that's throwing people? I thought that was just how they worked now. Guess that's what I get for not reading the rulebook. ;/

Unless we hear otherwise, all TMs will be played according to their glossary entry in the latest DP rulebook. Adjust accordingly, but be aware that a ruling from POP may change everything as quickly as you can say "Telepass Steven's"...

Do you mind posting what the LA rulebook says? Most of us don't buy theme decks-_-.

"Technical Machine: A kind of Trainer card that you attach to your Pokémon. Each Technical Machine card has an attack on them that, when attached to your Pokémon, your Pokémon can use as if it were its own. Technical Machine cards are discarded at the end of a turn."

Now, it is possible that this rule has been left in rule books inadvertently since older TMs used to say to discard. However, since the rule is still there and we haven't heard otherwise (yet) we will use the definition in the rulebook until we hear something from Japan. I'm sure the rules team wants to get this clarification out as much as we'd like to know!! Everyone is frustrated about this, not just the players..

Update: It's now clear (at least to me) that the glossary should have been updated, but hasn't been ....TM's WILL remain in play. They will NOT be discarded after one turn unless the TM states to do this on its card.

^^ BAH, I don't know whether I like that rule or not. Now I have more room in my deck, but I lose my TM's.

@charchar:
Are you confused about the ruling? If so, The new TM's (Which I know you're using) are discarded at the end of the turn you play them, until further notice. If not, what is it?

Also, I play in tournaments for the fun of a competitive environment. I have almost no chance to earn an invite since I'm now in masters. (I'm extremly competitive.)

I thought we went by the rules on the go-pokemon.com/op, and didn't pay attention to the theme deck rule books.
