Are you accounting for the Best Finish Limit? You only get points for your best 4 finishes at City Championships. Three first place finishes + 1 fourth place finish is 150 + 30 = 180 points.

The only way your point total will go up now at a City Championship is if you win again (to go up 20 points) or take 2nd (and add 10 points to your total.)

Did you say that Brad Pitts plays Pokemon? And to top that off he won 1st place? Wow! Way to go Brad :thumb:

How many rounds do you need to win on the first day of Regionals to make the top cut?

It'll vary a lot based on the number of people that show up, and based on the people you play. It's pretty luck based.

But you will not get in if you lose three times (barring some extreme drop shenanigans).

I'm not aware of a Top Cut cap for Regionals. Is there one like there is for cities? If there isn't, we will likely have a T32 (I know you can at least have this) and possibly even a T64 (not sure if this is allowable), as OR Regs should attract players from the Vancouver, CA; Washington, Oregon, and California areas at least. That could be big. With a T64, if no round cap (we would need 256+ people, probably unlikely) we would have 9 rounds day 1, and around 40 players with a 6-3 record would make it. With around 200 players, we would have 8 rounds, a T32, and about 3 people with a 5-3 record would make it. With around 150 people, we would have 8 rounds/T32, and around 10 5-3s will make it.

Some of this is educated guesswork based on P!P info I can find: this isn't from personal experience, so someone should correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure you could get some better info by posting on the NW Regionals thread ; ).

[Much of this is directed at Pika, despite quoting Kayle!]

I don't have any numbers off the top of my head but I'm literally 100% sure that X-3s never make cut, LF. ;P

I don't think regionals get bigger than T32.

Those were the standings before top 8 took place. Brad lost to quad sigi in top 8 :/
