hey i made a deck thats basically straight water it runs like this:

pokemon:
chansey x2
blissey x1
piplup x3
prinplup x2
empoleon x1
empoleon lvl x x1
buizel x3
floatzel x2
snover x3
abomasnow x2
corsola x1

energy
water x18

trainers:
pokeball x1
duskball x2
quickball x2
energy search x3
pluspower x1
super scoop up x1
masterball x1
nightly garbage run x1 (basically a night maintenance)
switch x1
energy removal x1
potion x1

supporters:
island hermit x1
celio's network x1
bebe's search x2
team galatic mars x1
team galactic's wager x1

my idea for this was try to get corsola to bring out piplip buizel and snover out, chansey is more of a last pokemon to use just in case due to the fact that blissey can bring out energy cards from the discard. if not i get buizel first and get floatzel as a defense. after that i get abomasnow out because of its pokebody to stall out and a 50/50 chance to the bench while dealing 60 dmg to the opponents active pokemon.then build up piplup to get empoleon/empoleon lvl x out to deal major damage to the bench or to the active. then of course blissey of all else fails.....

any ideas to improve this deck?

p.s. i only ran this deck against a friend except i had mantine instead of corsola. and my friend didnt really know how to play and he made a fresh deck so he doesnt know how to use it...
so much help will be appreciated

chansey x3
blissey x3
piplup x4
prinplup x3
empoleon x4
Stantler x4

Holon Mentor x2
Roseanne's Research x3
Celio's network x3
TV Reporter x4
Team Galactics Wager x2
Quick Ball x2
Rare candy x3 (one stage 2 line doesn't merit running 4)
Warp Point x3

Water x12
Holon WP x2
Boost Energy x3

Energy Removal and Nightly Garbage Run have not been legal for a long time. Singles of Supporters is not often a good idea, unless its something like Steven's Advice. More consistent and faster to have a starting pokemon in a deck like this, hence the Stantler. If you have to start with Blissey, then TVR or Mentor an energy out, and Boost + attach for a quick 80 damage. Optimally, hit hard and bench them with Warp point, then snipe them out with Empoleon. Or snipe first, and use Blissey to clean up afterwards.

Good Luck!

thanks hah...o yeah i didnt realize on the energy removal, it was energy removal 2
i dont really see the difference why i cant call it energy removal when energy removal 2 has the same effect as the old ones hah

o yeah..is there a reason why for the 4-3-4 for empoleon? it doesnt make sense to me

ok, kool...so any other alternatives? kuz i know its really hard getting blisseys from packs, and i want something to good to beat a gardy/galade/flygon deck

o yeah to add

i just got this idea i do a 4-3-2-2 empoleon kuz i have the promo lv.x and a regular lv.x. then use both of their pokepowers to mess with the opponents hand then maybe use a blissey but if i dont i take them out then put in octillery to deal massive damage to the bench

i guess you can say is a sniping deck?

If you are going to play a 4-3-2-2 Empoleon/Lvl X line I suggest the following. Play 4-4-2-2 because Prinplup is a solid card in it's own right, this will also allow you to drop Empoleon on whichever Prinplup (or Piplup with a RC) you get. Suicune (SW) will help you get your Empoleon and the Lvl X back into your hand, which is very important since you are effectively only running 2 Empoleon. Make sure you have lots of search cards (4 Celio's plus 2-4 Bebe's, and/or PETM) to be able to find your Empoleon, since you will not draw into it that often.

If you are thinking of running a 3rd line with these two (you mentioned Octillery), a 2-2 Ambipomp line could supply a 3rd hitter. You could also go with 2-2 Mantyke/Mantine to give you a starter and free retreat for all your Water pokemon.

thanks darkwalker...i tried out that 4-4-2-2 empoleon and 2-2 mantine and it worked pretty good, but im thinking of doing like a 3-3 octillery to replace my 3-3 floatzel because prinplups second attack relies on a damged pokemon vs octillery's attack that deals 40 as well but it doesnt rely on the factor of damaged pokemon. also im thinking of taking out that suicune and one lv. x emp and just do a 4-4-3-1 emp and put something else in the place of the missing card....thanks for your help dude it ran good against a garchomp/blissey deck but i didnt get the win but did amazingly good

If you just want a 3rd line for Empoleon, Cloyster(SW) is another decent choice. Overall, 4-4-3-1 is a more stable line for Empoleon. I would suggest playing that instead of the 4-4-2-2 unless you run something that benefits from your opponent having less cards (like the Ambipomp idea). I still suggest you use Suicune as a tech. It's power helps keep up the pressure after your second Empoleon goes down. It also allows you to grab Mantyke, Mantine, and an Empoleon if you had to sacrifice some pokemon early on or Absol's Baleful Wind rips them out of your hand.

my friend said for suicunes pokepower i cant use that to get empoleon lv.x back from the discard is that true?

yeah it does

yeah you could use some more celios and i would drop some pokemon lines(i would get rid of the abomasnow and snover) for some more draw/search supporters... i would probaly just use 2 lines if pokemon like maybe blissey/empoleon or flotzel/empoleon :thumb:

o...yea i tried that floatzel/empoleon line its pretty nuts it did good agaisnt a meganium/magmortar deck ended up with a loss but i was 1 prize away...my friend that i played agaisnt suggested a empoleon/magmortar line do like a 4-3-4 empoleon, get 4 rare candies, 3 rossannes, 3 celios, and 3-2 magmortar or a 3-3
