I think Hgss on to next destnies format is tottaly busted because of durant. Durant along with lost remover and pokemon catcher is extrmley disrupting. I didnt want to play my favorite deck at states because i knew i couldnt beat durant with it and i was certin that durant would make top two at states. But when the next set comes out it will fix the format because of the card heatmor to keep one shoting every thing they have.
 
I dislike CMT more. Decks shouldn't be able to consistently do 80+ dmg turn 1. That's stupid. Can't wait for rotation.
 
I would say that pidgey you can use your other attacker on coballion or shaymin ex. CMT is deffentley reall good but not as good as durant.
 
I'm confused, how would Shaymin EX help in the Durant match up when they don't take prizes?

Gigas is a great counter to be honest.
 
Honestly, I play Durant and Heatmor scares me about as much as a newborn kitten. I EXPECT and PLAN to loose a Durant every turn. Heatmor doesn't change that all. Yeah I can't kill it, but I can't kill anything (I don't play the prism energy for Rotom). Just have to disrupt like I always do. Print a Heatmor that can snipe a Durant at the same time as killing my active and then we'll discuss Heatmor. Until then he is nothing special and a waste of deck space.

simple math:
Heatmor T1/T2 = 6-8 Turns to deckout the oppenent. max. at 8 turns = 32 cards to discard. -7 prizes (which your oppenent actually draws right after killing you, so +1 card for oppenent after each turn) is about 20 cards in deck after a well timed N in your oppenents late game. Even Crushing Hammer can't help you out here, because the cost of 1 C for each OHKO to your Durant is easy to get. ;D
I would say, you don't even stand a chance against Heatmor ;D

Oh yeah I forgot, Durants "bad" Match-Ups:
ZekEel
CMT
Vileplumevariations
Tyram
Reshiboar
if one of these decks is played alot you could get problems... (ECC is the perfect example)

Seriously... HS-ND isn't a good format, but Durant isn't the problem, Mewtwo is. Durant was there before, it can't donk, can be outskilled, didn't win a lot at ECC and isn't even tier 1. Mewtwo, on the other side, donks more often than any other deck we ever seen before in any format (yes, that may also be because of the many 30-40 HP basics out there), is priced at $50 and higher, and as a deck combined with Celebi, it rushes anything that has bad start, without taking skill to do so.

We need Heatmor to counter a luck-based tier 2 deck? There are a lot of cards in Dark Explorers that I look forward to, but Heatmor isn't among them.
 
About the format:
Worlds: Reversal was bad and very luck based, but it allowed the format to be a little bit more skillfull, because your bench was quite save.
After Worlds: Catcher now allows speedy decks that profit from the turn1 ruling and don't even need skill to play them.
For me there are 4 things to do, if we want to have a more balanced and skillbased format:
1. Remove the Turn1 Ruling
2. Ban Catcher
3. Ban Reversal in order to remove a highly played luck-card with same effect as catcher has
4. Probably ban Mewtwo to ensure, that there are less donks

For me Dark Explorers doesn't change anything. We get strong EX basics again, get a new energy engine together with some stage1s that can deal enormous damage in turn2. Still fast, still luck based, still decided by a flip at the beginning of the game. Not healthy for the game to be serious. ;D
 
Well it should scare you rod because you keep knocking them out with one basic energy. And you can use other pokemon of course. I like this format besides durant. This format is reall fast if you want to play as pro.

Haha love that one. If that was true it would be easy to get a pro atm. Do you really think that is what makes somebody a pro now? xDDD
Format is far away from being good for somebodey who really is a pro. (not saying I am a pro, I just know what I am talking about. ;D)
 
Well who do you call pro then people who play a red face paint deck and its a deck that keep up with ctm is that pro? Or a person who hase done real good in tournments.

Not only a person who's done really good in tourneys, NO, a pro is a person who has done real good at tourneys over several years! Including US-Nats, Worlds, Bigger European Tourneys!

For example I myself am not a pro yet, but probably on a good way to become one...

Well darknot what your saying dosent make since. Like what about a person who dosent travel far much. What i think should be called a pro is a person who can make a red face paint deck and do good with it.

Thanks, but it would be rude to rely on, because then I would get a facepunch by someone who was better, and that would end in the always endless and absolutly unnecessary fight who's better and whoms opinion is better. =/ Not my way to solve things anymore...
