I'm not protecting Diaz, I'm disagreeing with your idea. Diaz very well could be a wolf, but based on what you've said and the arguments you've presented (and those words and arguments ALONE, regardless of whether this is your first game or your fiftieth game), I feel there is no reason to lynch him. And I will verbally disagree as to create discussion. I still don't think we have any need to increase pressure on Diaz, not for now.
First, you are protecting diaz. Posts 546, 581, 1267, 1269, 1283, and 1287 have as their basic premise Diaz not getting lynched. Call it thinking lynching Diaz is a bad idea, call it whatever you like, it is still coming to his defense.
Your basic points for thinking it is a bad idea come down to:
1. But he is a good player
2. You are a newb
3. He stopped lying
4. There was positive outcome for what he did
You claim that one and two are being read into your posts by me, so ill ignore those as you claim they aren't your arguments.
Him stopping lying has nothing to do with him doing something that is undeniably wolfie. There is no purpose for lying that cannot be gained by doing something else that is not good for the wolves. Look at it this way should we not lynch the guy contradicting the seer because....hey he stopped all right?
Napoleon has already dealt with consequentalist ideology in his post. Ends justify means is no bueno. Furthermore, the ends he supposedly achieved, creating discussion could be achieved much more effectively through different means. Napoleon also addressed this.
Now you're just being rude. If you haven't noticed throughout all the WW games, a good idea is a good idea, regardless of the player it comes from, and we don't ignore someone because they aren't a "vet". To put it quite simply, get over yourself. And when you lose the sarcasm and rudeness, you'll find that people don't disregard you because you're arrogant/rude/self-important/whatever.
I apologize for it seeming like I was being sarcastic or rude, that was not my intent. I am truly sorry for writing something that might have been taken that way. I was intending on being absolutely serious. His play of pressuring R1 was a good idea, and I would have joined in with it because of his reasoning except that I was already predisposed in pressuring Diaz. However there are many people who should have assisted him in pressuring the people who are not speaking to speak, yet him doing that has garnered nothing. If anything him pressuring R1 has been basically ignored. What reason is there for this? He stated his reasoning clearly and I think that everyone can agree that speaking is good. There are many people who have not used their vote. The only reason left is that they did not pay attention to him due to him being "non-vet".
