Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Werewolf xvi the rise of team plasma: Town wins

@jellyfisher: Even though you voted against me in the last game, I agree with your points and my vote is sealed.
Vote: Scottistru

I kind of wish you would wait a little before so quickly just agreeing with someone and voting. THIS is the kind of thing the wolves love, and very dangerous behavior for the town.

In bold...
I thought wolves could only kill ope person a night. Are wolves just superpowered or does that mean someone else has the ability to kill someone? I would like to look at the two people killed and try to speculate who/why they were killed:

It probably just means that there is another person(s) who have killing power. It is not uncommon for there to be multiple roles that can kill during the night, and sometimes during the day as well.

cabd: As soon as I saw cabd killed, it instantly made me think of ulti and his challenge. Maybe ulti can kill people that accept his challenge? Maybe this was just a ploy to have suspicion cast on ulti.

Interesting thought. However, it can be dangerous to look too far into something like this. You can not draw any conclusions from one data point. It could be random coincidence. Until an actual pattern shows its self, I would like to stay away from drawing any conclusions from this. As you said, such things can also be used by the wolves to make it look like there is a pattern. Besides... it would be a somewhat obvious killing role if the person who died during the night was always the person who accepted Ultis challenge. For now, I don't think there's really anything here, but it's something worth keeping an eye on.

Orcmaster: Once again, as soon as I saw this, I thought of the pressure orcmaster was putting on Diaz and DP. To me it seemed he strongly felt that they were working in tandem due to DP defending Diaz. Once again this could just be a ploy.

I wouldn't look to much into this either. Wolves generally don't kill people who put pressure on them, since it tends to make them look bad during the next day. Besides, as I've said before, it's ridiculous to think that Diaz and me were working together, since it would be a HUGE mistake to draw any attention to our selves this early on in the game. There's no reverse psychology here. Diaz is a good player, no matter what side he's on. It would have been a mistake to lynch him day one before learning more about his role.

Ulti, Diaz, and DP are definitely very suspicious to me right now. I don't think all of this could be coincidence. I'm very eager to see if ulti challenges someone this day and if so, if the person he targets accepts it. I would also like to hear some kind of defense from diaz (not DP).

I really wouldn't consider Ulti or my self overly suspicious. I actually find you a bit suspicious for looking into things SO far when it's only day 2. Maybe you're just over thinking things, but really, it's not in anyone's best interest to start calling people suspicious for a few random observations you noticed. Yes, they're good observations, but it's still REALLY early to make any judgements from them. Keep this kind of play for later in the game, when you really can start to pick up on patterns and make real accusations with evidence to support them. Right now, you're just making your self look over eager to call people out as wolves.

Diaz I am still iffy on but I will let him slide for now. None of that "No Lynch" bull junk.
PM is still on my list on suspects for the round.

Scott did something dumb, but I think he may have flushed out some possible wolves with the landslide of bandwaggoning - that is jellyfisher, jewlquest, and PM.

I am too tired for battling today, but I will win some day.

Jelly didn't bandwagon. He made a well thought out post, and made a vote. The other two are the guilty party.

Unless PM is blind, he did blatantly skip the question. Looks like someone has took the lead in my suspicious list.

It's possible he didn't see it. Happens to me all the time. I would give him one more chance. If PMYSTERIOUS (yes, that got your attention, didn't it? There's no way you're going to skip over this...) does not respond to Absol in his next post, we should consider him highly suspicious.

I fail to see how making the first vote towards someone is bandwaggoning.

Also, why do you assume that Scottistru possibly flushed out wolves, when it has not been determined if he is a wolf or not? In my opinion, the post he made didn't clear him. I'm probably going to comment on it later, but for now, I don't have time.

cabd: As soon as I saw cabd killed, it instantly made me think of ulti and his challenge. Maybe ulti can kill people that accept his challenge? Maybe this was just a ploy to have suspicion cast on ulti.

Something to note. Cabd was the Team Plasma kill, I don't think anyone can miss/deny that. Orcmonkey was killed by Incinerate. So I'd doubt that Ulti can kill someone with a challenge based on what we know right now. It's possible, but based solely off that last night, no.

Woobat has been mentioned twice now, Dave628 had one and so did Gandolf-- Dave dropped a Pokeball, and now a Pokeball has been dropped again by Gandalf. Could this Woobat be the same Woobat? If so, a connection could be made to assist in spotting who is who depending on if the Woobat makes a re-appearance in another/upcomming update. Just an observation, as since there is so many Pokemon to choose from- why see a repeat use?

I do appreciate everyone's patiance with me and my silence during the first "day", it was totally unintentional due to staffing NorCal. Regionals.

I will check in later. So far nothing stands out but my inquiry about Woobat at this time.

^ Good points. You've convinced me.

Vote: Scottistru

I don't really have anything to say about the game night that hasn't already been said.

I really hate it when people just quote someone and use that as an excuse to vote. Sure you may agree with them but this just makes you look like you're jumping on the bandwagon.

@Jewelquest

How can you have nothing to say about the game night? If everything's already been said we may as well end the game day now. There's hardly been any discussin about the game night and you think everything's already been said?

@theking: Kind of jumpy to say "we may as well end the game day now."- In a rush are we? Just saying....... but I do get the wordplay and use of the sentence to get a point across.

Also, I forgot: no vote at this time, we have time to discuss and look into things. Also, a "squad" is commonly 10 privates, one staff sergeant, and a corporal. I am going to look into researching the net to see if anywhere that there is mention of TP's "common" groups of names listed within leadership among the groups orginization to see who might be connected. (also, of course, to speculate into possable names)(and of course, I am not saying that there is 10 TP members in this game-if so, way overpowering and the numbers don't fit of course, just saying that a good number of TP members where in that room is all) My thoughts for now.

It's too bad they killed Orcmonkey. With my role reveal day 1, he easily could have found me and we could have become a mason group. Unfortunately he was killed before that could happen.

I agree with Jellyfisher's post about Scottistru and honestly his defense doesn't really cut it. His vote made no sense, there isn't any logic behind it. If you're gonna target an experience player like that, you better have real evidence. I'm not gonna vote yet, however if he doesn't change my mind soon I see no reason why we can't lynch him. His actions have been pretty fish for sure.

I originally thought PMysterious to be a townie. However his play hasn't shaped at all and he seems to be deliberately avoiding questions. If he doesn't start playing better, I think he, too, could be a good candidate for the lynch. The more he plays the less and less convinced I am of his innocence. He seems to be literally burying himself.

Ooh, good catch Pika. I would say for now, Ulti is off my suspicion list.

The time for that timidity is not now. This is a new game.

The town cannot afford shoddy play from its members. We all need to base everything in logic. If you play logically, then we will find the wolves quickly and eliminate them from the game. If you do not play logically, then you risk being lynched.

Absolutely agree here!

TheKing your thoughts
On last night?
Where is Akane?

If I was a werewolf, I would not go for the suspicion of a person. Instead, I would go for the biggest threats to them. The answer is, no I'm not a werewolf.

@Jupulice

With your speech restriction, I believe you to be a Pokemon. Jirachi, in the movie, spoke similier to this pattern. I am guessing this at this time, as an option to trying to figure out the possabilities of what roles are in this game. Also, why mention "10 didn't vote"? I feel for you in the restrictions you have, but alas- we all are up for lynch and your restriction could be a dooming clue for you.

Whoo, good discussions going on. I think (personally) a Gandalf role is... really random. Could there possibly be other LOTR-related roles here?

^thnx!

@jupulice: kk, this means your on a time restriction as well, I hope we can make the best use of you and your role/abilitie(s)- and I do hope that your in for the best interest of the town.

Any thoughts on Jplice's restrictions and his vote requirements?

I don't know what you mean by time restriction, can you elaborate?
