Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What decks do you expect to win Battle Roads?

In no particular order, the following decks will have common showings at Battle Roads:
• LuxApe
• BlazeRay
• ChatApe (Primeape/Chatot G)
• Mother Gengar w/Relicanth
• Machamp variants, including Speed Machamp and GeChamp
• Speedrill

I don't know about anything else that's tournament-worthy right now... as has been mentioned before, there is a lot of trash in SV, which means only a few playable decks.

How soon Legos was forgotten... again.

BR's should be fun. *evil grin*

Gyarados lists are easily found if you bother to look around. Nobody believed how it won in France...I didn't see it coming at CITIES (Thats right, I faced the bloody deck at CC's) and its been a pain to beat every time I face it.

I would LOVE to see Honchkrow and Venusaur SV succeed, but I fear that they may be a bit too slow.

However, I wouldn't count out Dialga G/Gallade. :O

Since Beedrill has just been proven BDIF-ish by winning worlds, we can safely assume that it will be huge without a rotation messing it up.

I think the main reason it won was because people didn't think it was THAT good before worlds. No one really teched for beedrill. Now that the threat is out there, people WILL tech. And there are many techs that can just run through the bees

After Worlds is over the new season begins. And with no rotation AT ALL this year, the creativity level is off the charts.

I'm not sure if another set is going to be released before Battle Roads, but even if there is, what do you expect to see winning? New interesting rogues, same-old same-old, what's your opinion? Please give a reason why, we don't want this to turn into a poll.

wait no rotation? wowa

I was thinking I could give Charizard G a shot with Electivire FB, but I still don't know if I really want to play an SP deck. Those folks chirping about Garchomp are right to be doing so. After all, if you think about it, how many of the big decks that have been ruling the format ever attach more than 2 energy to any Pokemon at a time? Beyond the occasional charged up Palkia Lv.X before it discards for Hydro Shot, there is only Flygon, and they carry each other's weakness. However, Garchomp Lv.X plus Felicity's Drawing provides you with an insta-tech option. And let's not forget the original Garchomp, which can one shot a lot of the popular SP's by the boatload and every single one of them out there if you can hit just one heads on a Dragon Pulse. The more I write about it, the more excited I get to test it.
