Ok... so I get an infraction for saying how someone types is annoying, but this is still here... :/
You come across as a very rude person who has NO experience with any of the decks that are being discussed here, and just want to sound smart.
I have play tested these decks endlessly on appr with LEGIT players, and have vast knowledge of the matchups. I am quite curious as to who you play, because no one in the Omar Chats (aka the people who MADE and PERFECTED the deck) will play you. I am not a rude person, I simply like to make the lives of completely ignorant pokemon players who would feed others false information a complete ****. So, you can either stop bieng such an arrogant PITA, or you can keep dealing with me over and over and over again.
I have spent literally HOURS of playtesting on these matchups, for states and now regionals.
The deck wasn't around before states. You also do not have the updated list (since no one in their right mind who has it would even comsider sending it to you), thus all your playtesting comes to nothing. You wasted your time, thank you for trying.
Just the fact that you said that Magmortar destroys Plox makes your entire post worthless, as it proves how little you know about this matchup. :nonono:
Wrong. Power Lock does nothing when you can power up anyway without it. It takes 3 shots to KO a Blaziken, during which time it can attack 2-3 times powering your Mag/other Blaziken up, and it takes 3 shots to kill a Mag if you keep healing it. If you break the Plox at any time, they will wipe you away as they flood the field with mass power and recovery. If you continue the Plox, you die. If you break the Plox, you die. Plox used to have a horrible matchup vs Mag, accept it, admit your wrongdoing and appologize, or keep dealing with me.
Yes me, the joy in your post is overwelming
You stating something as silly as Magmortar beats Plox is just silly. I have spent hours going over that matchup in particular and it is deffinitly NOT in Mags favor. I know several ppl who can back me up on that. By no means is it an easy matchup, but it is in Ploxes favor.
Once again, who have you been testing against, and who the heck would give you a good Plox list? With the old list, Mag was a nightmare, you could NOT keep that thing down unless they got some kind of unholy start with 6 energy and 1 basic. You have no idea what you are talking about, I am glad some things never change.
Now this is slightly off topic, but there a few things I feel need to be explained/cleared up.
About Hurricane. I really don't know what you ment by "we all know how that turned out" as Hurricane is now an archetype, and still a strong deck. It is one of the only decks that has survived through the yr, when more popular/more hyped decks like Blissy and DWD died out. It has done fairly well at States, being one of the t4 decks used. Ya, it dies to G&G, but so does EVERY OTHER DECK OUT THERE.
Mag beats GG, Banette beats GG. Hurricane doesn't even beat a good Mag list (heck, even Fire Truk would be a pain for you), so the matchup you do good against is... Banette. Got it.
And I was refering to your non-stop hyping of your silly deck, and your arrogant replies such as "I am going to beat Eric Craig". You inflate your head, say completely idiotic things, and then get mad when you are proven to be wrong. Get over it, you have no idea what you are talking about, and until you learn that you DON'T have all the answers, you never will.
And as for Jimmys X2, yes I did know what it was, and I was helping with testing/trying to get it to work.
No, you didn't. I know several people who were in on the list, if you found out what it was, it was by accident.
And yes Plox does beat Magmortar.
No it doesn't
It doesn't quite work out that way.
BTW a 1-0-1 Gatr tech fixes that problem of Plox only having a late game attack power of 60.
Gatr slows the deck down to an unholy level. Plox needs to win early, thus it needs to setup fast. a 1-0-1 tech of Gatr is garbage, and 2-1-2 takes up alot of space and slows the deck down. Each one of these statements is backed by testing, real life experience, and personal online play as well.
I got GA and FL confused, either way 8 out of the 10 top players in those two states used PLOX. What does that fact have to do with the rest of my post. You seem awful rude. You are blaming people for being clueless and yet you make a blanket statement saying one deck beats another without so much as admitting the various factors that can alter the matchup. You claim anyone saying plox beats mags is silly, well you saying Mags beats plox is silly as well. Play test the match ups with various tech and time allowances and get back to me. If you are honest with yourself and the rest of the world - you will change your tune.
My appologize, I should have posted why it is a good matchup. read above, that is how it beats it.
And as for the rest of your post, it seems to be nothing but irrelevant insults and silliness not worth responding to, until the last part.
BOLD- Darthpike, please read the last sentance. Please do as he says. TY.
