What will Win State?

Well honestly I think its a any deck game because nobody can really predict what will win states, with all the new cards coming out and with new decks people don’t post and ask for help. I don’t think anybody can really say what will win states or not.

Sarcasm is spam, you lose. Your appology is accepted. And yes, I am a mod. You are hereby banned.

It doesn't say "sarcasm is spam", you lose.:thumb::wink:

I just tested this guy with porygon z, using porygon 2 to setup. I think im in love.

Which guy?

I am NOT a mod and you are hereby wrong.

Togekiss could be fun for states....

I know that you are not a mod, notice the emoticons in the post like the smile face, the wink and the thumbs up!

Anyway I agree Togekiss looks like a fun option to run.

After I posted I noticed PRIME edited it.

Yes those look like the top contenders, I am going rogue, its cheaper.

for once i'm prob not going rogue

i didn't get a chance to go to many cities, so i want to try to do well in the rest of the tournies, since i spend so much time playing pokemon and working on ideas

i'm probably playing an original gallade list that's about as experimental as i will go, something that i came up with but still has a chance against gallade and magmorter, and quite unfortunately absol, absol has really caught on here

Lol, I think Prime is still angry about bieng shot down about the mario article by Bobby. Remind me to give him a sympathy hug.

Anyway, I'm still sad over Sceptile, good card, but nothing goes with him right now (unless I missed something).

What would go well with Togekiss? There's Magmortar, but that is infinantly inferior to the already existing Magmortar deck, Mag/Typhlo(Blaze). I've been testing with Weavil and Darkrai so that Togekiss becomes a stage 2 that powers itself up automatically, has 1 retreat, has resistance to fighting, and swings for 70, and either adds 30 more damage, or heals 30. It tests fairly well, but once I toss it into the competetive mix, it'll get shot down. It's just not good enough.

I keep thinking that it's the basics that will go best with Togekiss. Ho-oh, Palkia, Latios, etc. Any cool basic that seemed to be unplayable due to high energy cost now seems to have a shot.

yes, ut there is one, so our luck ran out. I think the major decks will be: Togekiss varients, Magmortar, Blissey, Bannete, and Gardilade.

the metagame for states is going to be soo much more interesting, there are going to be a lot of suprises, there will be much better deck quality,

hp-on format has gone from speed decks taking over, to disruption, to setup, all the lists and their relationships to one another will provide a pretty divirse playing field, some new cards have changed what is and isn't playable,

Probably Magmortar:smile:, G&G:mad:,Blissey variants and maybe a a few poison decks because of weezing GE.

:colorlessPidgeyot/weavile/darkrai :water:Will Win States IMO:dark:

I tested Pidgeot / Weavile pretty hard ... and while I had a lot of fun with the deck it didn't win much against good decks. I'm not sure that Darkrai would really add that much to it.
