What will win states?

My Tier1 deck for States/Regionals:
Dialgachomp (DC have good match up w/ luxchomp,lostgar,g-dos,vilegar,mewperior DIALGACHOMP IS BACK!)
Lostgar
Vilegar
Sableye lock
Gyarados

^^Yea, Luxchomp is gonna win most of the states. It was dominant over all other decks, including dialgachomp
all through cities. I understand maybe putting others up there with luxchomp if that's your opinion, but not even
putting it in tier 1 is just crazy. Luxchomp will win. Though I won't be completely convinced of anything until I'm
able to properly test out Lostgar.

I actually agree that Vilegar will not be the play for States. You can't tech against Lostgar, because the reason they'll win is that you play soo many Pokemon that they'll always catch you with 1 or 2 in your hand. They barely even need Seeker.

Uxie donk can donk a lone Gastly with little trouble. Uxie, energy, Collector for triple bat.

Except for the fact that good Uxie Donk lists dont play collector.

On topic, I think that Luxchomp, Dialgachomp, and Sableock will go the farthest with Lostgar close behind.

IMHO Luxchomp will dominate. If you tech Honchkrow SV to get rid of annoying Gengar Prime I think you'll have a pretty successful match against it. Umbreon UD will destroy Gengar Prime too. About Lost Remover, it will not hurt Luxchomp since you discard DCEs with Chomp C.

I disagree.
You guys are overlooking an obvious tech against lostgar that fits into any psychic deck.

That's silly. Uxie Donk needs to be able to T1 Regi Move VS a Tomb start and does so often - because of collector. Turbo t1 deckout or no, you still need collector.

What is that?
Bannette sort of works, but not completely, and mismagius is trash.
I don't really see what you're talking about.
Watch it be something really obvious though :p

I suspect you are joking.

Every Uxie donk list I've seen runs Ball engine + draw power for Pokemon search with Seeker as the only Supporter.

Cyclone Energy does the Regimove job.

Vilegar is great at keeping a hand down to size as it must do so for mirror. It's pretty good against vilegar, especially when vilegar plays a gengar prime tech, and the trainer lock really hurts the speedgar builds. I think it seems just as good as last season.

Modest Glaceon survives Adamant Garchomp's Fire Fang and returns OHKO with Ice Beam. Does like 80% with Yache.

But seriously, I'm pretty sure that the winning deck will be something we haven't seen yet (unlikely due to really fail reprints), Dialga, or Luxchomp. I don't foresee Gengar quite pulling it out anymore.

Luxchomp adding Lost Remover will improve their Dialga matchups so I am worried about that.

Fire fang? First off, no-one runs fire fang on Garchomp. That's just plain retard. Secondly, i'm sure that a Dragon Claw (with or without) Swords Dance wrecks Glaceon...smh

Luxchomp running LOst Remover? Gross. They have no room...and it's not gonna help because Dialgachomp is already a favorable matchup...it's not necessary.

Any idiot that decides to run Uxie Donk will be punished when they run into Vilegar and pitch darks all day long. That's the stupidest play for states i've ever heard of. Luxchomp will be great, Lostgar will be solid, Dialgachomp will be good, Gyarados will be trash (luxchomp and lostgar destroy it, the latter mostly). Etc

im not sure if you know but gyarados decks can discard cards from there hand genius, in other words they will discard pokemon. they can also keep a psychic bing lock to prevent spookky whrlpool plays.

the luxchomp matchup is also no less than 45/55 to luxchomps favor.

Tombs/Gastly will stop Uxie on turn 1, and Dialga will easily shut it down turn two. Unfortunely, I can't say that SPs won't get donked due to high HP basics anymore

Idk, maybe I'm conceptualizing the deck wrong as I haven't seen any post-TM versions of the deck, but it seems to me that the release of TM could only make collector more desirable in Uxie Donk. With Junk Arm, you are no longer forced to use Regice to rid your hand of surplus collectors inhibiting your ability to use Set Up to its full potential. In addition, collector is very useful as it grabs multiple Pokémon (uxie crobat crobat, for example) to maximize your shot at donking. I concede that Seeker might not work too well with collector, but given multiple Flash Bites (afforded by collector, among other cards), the deck can donk at least 3 Pokémon without much difficulty.

Not only that, but in the coming format, wouldn't you play collector to maximize your chances of donking Gastly? Assuming you played Uxie Donk, of course. I am not trying to paint Uxie Donk as a good play (considering its Dialga matchup, it really isn't) but I think donking most other decks in the format should be quite doable.

I think we will see the order will go like this.

1. Luxchomp
2. DialgaChomp/LostGar
3. Lostgar/ Dialgachomp (whichever doesnt come in second)
4. SableLock with Blaziken and Honchkrow SV
