Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What's up with WALMART? Do they still sell Pokemon TCG?

I went to a Wal-mart in my neighborhood and they said that all Pokemon had been taken down due to theft. It's sad.

here in Indianapolis area wal-marts I haven't been able to find cards for a while. They used to be upfront. Also our wal-marts have never had them in the toy section.

Yeah im having a hard time finding cards at walmart.... it seems that they do not sell platinum booster packs yet... i wish they did i have a discount card and i buy them once an while...

The Walmart here sells mostly Platinum and Stormfront booster packs and tins. It's hard to find the older packs here (like Majestic Dawn and Great Encounters).

Umm in My family we don't shop at walmart but they don't sell at r super but at the normal mart they do try local toy stores or booksamillion or borders or big chain gas stations

is there anything remotely offensive on any pokeman cards, cuz with what they recently did to naruto,it would not surprise me wally world is clamping down on there :family friendly" image in this poor economy

Everyone should be supporting their local card stores instead of giving walmart the business. lol.

Back on topic, I've checked 3 walmarts in TN and they still carry cards. Although their card section is completely disorganized, and downright messy.

I can see how theft would be a very big problem, but that's Walmart's fault to an extent. Their security is horrible.

Nothing offensive that I have ever seen, so far anyway....However, back to the topic. The Walmarts here turned around and cleared their shelves of TCG's, and had none for like 2 months. They were switching vendors. I'm glad too, because now they have a much better selection *DP and up*, and it doesn't take too long after the release of cards for them to show up. They keep them up front, near all that *as seen on TV* stuff.....Oh yeah, I live in VA........

No pokemon in Louisiana Wal-Marts either.
The latest they have in our Targets is Crystal Guardians.
TRU is the only place I have been able to find them in 4 different cities and they just got PT
about a week ago.

It took me like forever to sit here and figure our what "TRU" was .. ROFL!!!!

Toys-R-Us ... lol

I need a nap. My head hurts now... lol

for under 20 bucks they will not prosecute MOST of the time,if your a first time offender.they will trespass you and will call the cops. priors get prosecuted. Minors are released to parents custody and are trespassed.

this is from AP.

NE Wisconsin cleared their shelves too. I wanted to get some packs of Platinium... :(
I found that out about 2 weeks ago.

Don't buy from Wal-Mart anyway. Wal-Mart uses illegal immigrants, treats their employees poorly, uses cheap foreign sweatshop labor to make their non-external brand products, and overall sacrifices human dignity in the favor of moderately cheap big box bargains.

Buy from your local gaming store if possible. They need your support.

SoVA Walmarts have 'em, but I shop at my local card store for a few reasons:
1. They are cheaper there by a longshot.
2. It supports local businesses, which are closing by the thousands these days.
3. I don't even have to leave league to get them!

My local league never sell any of the special blisters pack. They only have booster pack, tins, and theme decks. They never sell cards like the promo Magnezone or Promo Porygon z.

All the Walmarts I go to carry a healthy supply of TCG stuff (guess I'm lucky, lol). Just got 2 of the Porygon Z promo things from one today.

Those of you THAT HAVE OPTIONS can heed Politoed's advice.

Don't get it twisted. IF there was ANY OTHER place that sold the cards locally, i'd always go there instead of WalMart. Walmart is EVIL. Unfortuneately, around here, it's a necessary evil because most of its competition has closed down.

For us in these parts ... Walmart was the ONLY STORE WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS THAT OFFERS(well, offered...) POKEMON CARDS RETAIL!!

So, there you go...
Our family attends league weekly, but it is a 72 mile drive (one way) each week.

I always buy items from the gaming store where league is held to support the shop and show appreciation for hosting the league.

I have to order my boxes online.
I have to order singles online.
I have to trade via Pokegym

So, having the option of grabbing a few packs while in checkout at the local Walmart was a welcomed commodity.
