Origins did feel pretty empty this year without MTG and YGO. It was very noticable that they were absent.

Nice how everyone's saying it should be in their home town. And those close to Ohio already, say it shouldn't be moved.


In that case, Nationals should be located in Portland, Oregon. Because the only other thing we have around here is the Blazers. We seriously need something to make it more interesting around here.

I was actually suggesting that it be more centrally located; Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, and Dallas are all major airline hubs, have convention centers with co-located hotels, and would most fairly balance travel costs for players from the east and west coasts.

Having said that, Portland does have a great airport, convention center, great Chinese food, seafood, and microbrew beers. Gotta go with Flaming Spinich on this one, Portland>not Portland.

i think moving nationals from the centrally-located United States Midwest is a mistake. if they move it to florida or somewhere, GREAT, but how many people are gonna go? many of the players are somewhat within driving distance of origins, minus the cali players, etc.

I wish it could be in like Boston or New York. The 11-14 Champion of NE States and Regs is set in stone, so it would be nice for other people to have a shot!
