Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

which controller is best for ssbb?

I'm training myself to play Nunchuk/Wiimote for the Gamestop tournaments, and I think if you altered the controls a bit, it might end up better than the GC controller. I know for some players though that just wouldn't work, lots of pros hold the GC controller really wonky.

I was originally using just the Wiimote, but I've moved over to the Classic.

I never played any of the other SSB games.

I've only played it once (Lucario ROCKS!), but I used the GC controller and it just seemed... natural. I may have to get a new GC controller for SSBB once I get a Wii (I sold my old ones with my GC) if the Wiimote feels to wierd.

Even though I have a couple GC controllers, I'm looking to get a new one since I really wore them out with Melee and other games as I smashed away at the control stick. The control stick wobbles a little on its resting location.

Anybody know any third party controllers that are way better than the official?

GCN controllers far outclass the rest, unless if you have not played any of the smash bros game before

nunchuk falls in 2nd place, and the wiimote my itself is imo too funky to use

i havent tried the classic controller yet though...

i finally got my new gamecube controller from amazon. the joystick was all messed up on mah old one. i wouldve liked a wavebird but i aint paying no $100. how do you turn off the annoying rumble??

USE THE ZAPPER lol jk
GC controller i cool but i go between wiimote/nunchuck because your moves are natral but it gets hard to short hop

i think that i read that when the game launched in japan, that there was an average of more than one gamecube controller sold with each game.

Gamecube controller ftw. Funny how the controller is now shaping up to outlive the Gamecube in terms of usefulness.

Kinda like the PS1 ones did too? I'd like to say the same of PS2 ones, but for some reason people are still buying that system, I guess even it is superior to the PS3, yuck.

Likewise, I'm training myself with just the Wiimote for EB Canada tournaments. It's brutal. Gamecube controller alone is definitely the best.
