'twas Curran H. who won Nationals and Worlds in 10- in 2005

Note - the 10- who finished 4th at Nationals in 2005 took 2nd

The 10- who finished 2nd finished in the T8, and the 10- who finished 3rd went T32

Also, in 2004

The top 2 10- players at US Nationals both finished in the T16 at Worlds 2004.

There is some relation...I assure you.

Hope it carries over to 2006 :thumb:

just because you win Nationals does not mean you are going to win Worlds. There has never been an American who won Nationals in any age group that went and won Worlds. I'm not saying Bobby is not going to win Worlds, but I am saying that he is not guaranteed World Champ because he won nationals.

And I'm sorry ryanvergel if I don't practice beating myself. I'm sure you are very good at it, but I guess I should practice more.

Curran H. 10- nats and worlds champ.
Stuart B. 11-14 nats and worlds champ.

Take that! For you saying that, I hate you.

Correction FS will win, Jeremy got lucky:lol:

Umm, IMO Only Americans will win Worlds this year. The Players in Canada and Europe are great players, But U.S. Players consistentally win tournaments and those players will consistanly win Worlds.

Well, Mabey Sami or Freddy, but NObody else :/

thanks Wooper.

every Nation consistantlly wins their Nations tournaments

there is only 1 guaranteed international tournament and thats Worlds, and Japan won 04 and we won 05. Where is the consistancy there?

Well, True every country has their players, But the U.S has a Much larger player base. Thus making it harder for the Great U.S. players to Top-Cut.

Well, i would presume that Yamato has an invite, though i cant find his name on the list of people playing in worlds @ on the op website.

Yamato did not win an invite.

IIRC, he was one spot short at the major Japinese tournament for the year, and didn't have enough points at the end of the year to win an invite.

Rumor has it he'll be at the grinder...

I doubt he will fly all the way here to play in grinder...even tho thats what I'm doing :p

Do we have a list of Japaniese players whom have invites?

well, i suspect that yamato will most likely win a trip from the grinder, since he is one of the best in the world. I see no reason why he would'nt fly over, he would most likely win a spot in worlds.

Are you retarted?

LAST YEAR, 10- and 11-14 worlds were won by the same kids who won the US nats.

Stuart B won 11-14 US Nats and 11-14 WORLDS
Curran H won 10- US Nats and 11-14 WORLDS

Are you seriously just dumb? Or ignorant? Both, probably.

I was beaten to the punch. But seriously, learn your facts before you go shooting off...

Bobby will follow the 14- trend by winning worlds.

obvs everybody has their favs. but, you have to actaully play the matches to tell who is going to win. Yamato is a perfect example. Who would have predicted he would have to play in the grinder?

If Yamato comes he's winning grinders. Period. He's one of the best players around he can own you with t1 spoink, while your playing lbs. I wouldnt be surpirsed if he did come someone of that caliber of playing has to make a show! E4C FTW!

Even the best of players is facing considerable odds when they HAVE TO go 7-1, or perhaps an even larger number-1 in swiss games. I really hope he does make it though.

I had another dream. An all-Florida championship...

10-: Andrew H.
11-14: Miranda C. (Sorry Bobby!)
15+: Wait for it, wait for it.... Jin Wang. BAM!
