Worlds 2008 Location Discussion

Ideas that I like are:
1. Mountain Resort say in Colorado
2. Alaska Cruise? (August is the best time to go)
 
1. It wont be in Europe for a very very very long time. Due to the bulk of the invites to worlds from from North America and Japan. It just make sense money wise to keep it in North Americ,a because airfare in Europe is CrAzY high!

2. With the way numbers are I am surprised it has not been in Houston. But who knows.

I'm going to Alaska this August because I have family that live there. Its a huge trip for me bc i've never been farther west than mississippi. I think Alaska or Atlanta, just someplace that starts with an A.
 
Now only if Edmonton had more players (well I'm sure it has more then Hawaii), it would honstly be a great place to host an evenet such as worlds. The weather is perfect at that time of year 80-100 f i think....West Edmonton Mall is just amazing, and would be a suitible for worlds. And as a plus, its cheeper then Hawaii :D

yeah I know, I'm only dreaming.....I wouldn't mind seeing it in Europe or Japan, altho both of which are highly unlikely....for USA locations, Huston or New York

How about...

Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

It's got lots of great sunshine, lots of great beaches, lots of shops, lots of theme parks and of course, SURFING IS THE BEST!!!

i think were going back to a place that weve been before and also a place that EVERYONE loved and had a good time......:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :wink: :wink: :wink:

and i know this is a lil crazy but a 3-day cruise dont sound to bad, and i dont really know how cheap or expensive it would be, but i think everyone would like it, and the people who want to grind in could jus pay the expenses........but i dont know, i didnt give this much thought neway
 
How 'bout Rockford Illinois at Forest Hills Lodge jus like States and Regionals...? lol jk jk

Maybe Disney Land or Disney World?
 
It should totally be in California along the fault lines. Then we could get a promo called Tropical Earthquake :D
