Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Worlds 2009 Location Predictions

Hello everyone

While New York, Philly, and DC are all great choices what is wrong with BOSTON? Boston would be a great place to run worlds. Lots to go see and do. Sure I am biased about Boston because I am from the greater Boston area. CHOWDA for everyone!! We have beaches too in the New England. There is lots to do within an hour ride of Boston. Amusement parks, beaches, museums, the cape and yes multiple Capital Grills for those who love steak.

Think about it, don't sell us short

Boston would drive the price of airline tickets from too many areas way up. No way that would work . Texas would be best and we have the ***lord Hotel and they have their own convention area. Texas has great support for pokemon. It would break all records for attendance. Some of the other places mentioned wouldn't come close to the low ball numbers. Come to Texas you will see. Oh one more thing. We have great Judges. Not like that guy from Washington that didn't know what a scramble energy did. Or that a game is not over just cause time is called. Sour grapes the gym won't let me post the name of the hotel.

Seattle plz, the site of the 2002 worlds!
plus i wanna meet my fellow canadians... mike ftw.

You're Canadian now too? Gee they'll let anybody in won't they? Just kidding buddy. We'd be glad to have you.

yeah the better place for worlds is CANCUN MEXICO!!!
Everyone is happy there...for some strange reason, i preffer CANCUN than Canada or
Japan even AMSTERDAM hehehe In CANCUN there exist better reasons hehehe

Anyone have any predictions as to where we will all be gathering in Aug. 2009 for the Pokemon World Championships?

I have no clue where it will be held, but I sure hope it will be in Japan. I really want to go there. I will need a payed trip though. Unless I start saving now. Hahaha.

I hope it's either in Cali or Hawaii since my sister goes to Cali for a national pageant thing and it's around the same time as worlds =P. Also I hope it will be Hawaii since my family would want to go to a vacation there plus I get to play in worlds or at least the lcq.

Hawaii already had worlds last year, People want new attractions. Worlds has a huge chance of being in California, which would be nice because I live near san diego.

My 3 attractions:

1:Disneyland Resort,CA because it's the most famous attraction in California. Besides Hollywood.

2: San Diego Convention Center because it has a huge room for everybody to play with huge hotels

3:Arizona: The reason is that since Arizona has very least players, worlds will be less crowded. also POP can find more attractions easier.

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH Not again. Im so sick of having it held on the west coast. come at least kinda close to Massachusetts(I.ER. 6-7 hr. drive or less)

what?? stop crying, not again?? where do you get AGAIN, if this year it's held in THE EAST COAST "FLORIDA" !!!

if you don't like it, STAY HOME THEN, no matter where it's at ???!!!

U.S. Nats is held in Ohio every single year. I get really tired of people complaining that Worlds is coming back to the West Coast.

Okay. I have read most of the people's postings and they said nonsense things. It says West Coast of the US so It will not be tokyo, brazil, new york, or Canada. It will be the US for 2009, so please don't spam by talking about tokyo or canada for worlds. Thanks.

Most of those posts were made before we knew about the "West Coast of the United States" announcement, so they were not spam. Besides it is fun to dream about where our next Pokemon vacation will take us. (2010 in London, perhaps.)

Jason, have you forgotten Houston, Texas???

(Happy to be 3rd in that comparison for Regionals!)

It's never going to be here.
If it's going to be here, it's going to be at either George Brown,
or Woodlands WaterWay.

George R Brown don't get me wrong it's not that far from either Bush Intercontinental or Hobby Airport. The Woodlands is quite a drive from Hobby so i suggest doing Bush intercontinental.

I could see now some worlds people accidentally flying into Hobby when it is in the woodlands. (long drive/ lotta gas/ big cab fee).
I would get phone call gallore ( i live very close to Hobby)

From my understanding Worlds in Arizona was denied due to lack of space . :nonono::nonono::nonono: Im sad now :( i live in Arizona.
