Worlds 2nd Place Master Report - For now

hey im a fellow player of the flychamp but my build was diff.. and if i might ask y the ditto and y no bts and y the sw trapinchs?

hmm..

Ditto + Lucians was in anticipation of mass flygon, not to mention ditto + psychic is really strong against Gengar too.

Ditto with 3 Evo's on the bench means you one shot a flygon, and it doesnt get OHKO'd back because it is weak to F. Vs Gengar it helps evade fainting spell.

Also, my logic for running 3 SW Traps was simply because with no Weavile, you lack speed to keep up with most decks. Therefore gusting something up, could by a vital energy drop etc. In hindsight 2-2 Trapinch was probably better, but i was worried of RR Traps vulnerability to Gengar.

3/4 Suitcases located with trophy intact, will let you know about the 4th!

Whether that you came 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or even 32nd! I still count that as winning worlds to even make it that far in the tournament. Congratulations on coming in 2nd place! How come you didnt put Memory Berry in the Flygon/Machamp deck?
 
Sami as a player has (over the last few years) gone from hype to hyper!

Once bravado and attitude supplimented his good plays and good decks ..now the cards on the table do the talking for a truely great player who shows just how talented he is when he sits down to play.

Well done Sami and I hope we see you at Crayford again soon .. and I really hope you find the last of your luggage soonest..

Believe the hype.. no need just look at the worlds ranking!

hey sami we had an awesome game. machamp x puts me so on tilt now, though. hope that trophy looks good with your X national trophies!
 
Boy two seperate posts mentioned that his deck featured 2 stage two lines, last time I counted, Flygon, Machamp and Nidoqueen were all stage 2 lines. And they say pokemon raises math skill levels.
 
Great job Sammi! Top 8, top 8, top 16 and 2nd in the last 5 years? That has to be one of the best worlds resumes the last few years. Welcome to the illustrious yet frustrating 2nd at Worlds club.
 
Yay. That's great to hear that all of your suitcases are located, I wonder where did they left all of those suitcases around? In heathrow somewhere?

It's a shame I had complications and was not able to get to go this year, but everyone's been singing your praises, so I feel like I had to congratulate you. And definitely a prop with playing Flygon-Champ and tossing in the Champ X, I thought I was the only one playing that and everyone was against me playing it, but I'm glad you managed to do so well with it. I will see you in Hawaii, it's a shame you won't be around for our Nationals/PokeyPalooza, but there will be some fun and I look forward to meeting you at worlds.
