Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Yugi-Oh under "NEW" management!!!

I'm not rich, and I've got serveral good decks. Anyway I think that from here Yugioh can only get better. Hopefully Konami will start reprinting old cards, and going back to the original formula for the game. Even though I am a Pokemon player I must admit Yugioh is fun to play.

Define a good deck, cause I can assure you you're probably not building something tournament-winning like TeleDAD without being at least slightly better off than most people. Personally, I have a Gadget deck, which at least is somewhat cheap.

lol well at least gadgets did get in top 16 at shonen a couple of weeks ago...
but really if this big switch in componys work konami might let us use most ocg card in the us and if that happens the game will even out in japan twobecouse of the lower rarities of cards their lol like these:
dad:us 200$ secret:japan 3$ rare
crush card:us250$ gold series/shonen:japan 30$ starter deck kaiba

see the diferences lol

I hope they'll losen up on those cards restristions, cause it's real annoying that they make such good cards and then don't let us play them.

wasn't it always run by Konami? or a Tournament running system?
YGO isn't Pokemon Sister Game, lol not close. MTG maybe..

Pokemon does not have a "sister game' You could say that Dual Masters is Magics "sister game as its rules were based on Magics. but Pokemon is a one of a kind, as ther eis not annother game like it anywhere.

I refer to it as a sister game as it is one of the games that helps keep our local gaming shops in business.

All the competitive Yugi players are in a big worried spin about the future of their game. I can imagine how our players would respond to such huge changes in management.

Been there, done that.

The stupid thing is, I can only name a handful of people who are on the gym that were around back then.

ude is still in charge of ygo in europe

i suspect they wont be for long as US UDE have been told to hand the game back the euro section, i suspect, will have to aswell. But it's very hard from what i have been told to get a definate answer as noone will tell anyone anything

LOL, so it's doing the same as Pokémon then? If it fixes the game, why not?

Yeah, but at least one person used to lurk on the gym in those days but only now posts

Thats becuase its in court right now.

Don't hate on yugioh just because you suck at it.

I pioneered Soul Control and built one of the earliest versions of Gladiator Beasts. I think I can play the game decently well.

When the only set limits on what you can do in a game can be completely removed by cards in the game, the game is HORRIBLY flawed. The only limits you have on creatures are summoning methods, almost all of which (excluding Syncro monsters due to how new they are, but they will get a cheat sheet soon enough) can be easily worked around to the point where the rule book and game mechanics may as well not even exist.

To give you an idea how bad the game is, Pot of Greed, a card that allows you to draw two cards, TWO CARDS, is banned. The mechanics of the game sidestep to the cards in almost every situation, something of which almost never happens in Pokemon (Rare Candy being an example of one that does), and in Magic is balanced by Mana cost, which easily can exclude it to a narrow field of decks.

Know what you are talking about and wise up, Yu Gi Oh's mechanics are TERRIBLE beyond belief.

When i was 12 i played soul control and did pretty well........ btw if i remember correctly look at Austin Kulman?

This game is also relys on who see more cards, more options to the game play. Or Sacking

On topic- YuGiOh is a mess in my area, split opinions and i saw someone sell 2 DaD for 120 . Then the same guy got a whole LS for 350......

I created Lava Lock...whats ur point?

lol, sparta is right though, this game is very much flawed. Their rules are VERY inconsistant. The players are very arrougant, and it takes a bit of money to be something. Granted, I created Lava Lock, with 9 dollars, and the next thing I know, everyone is playing it.
*speaking of arrougance*

Lava Lock was Lava Golem and locking/control.
