We will certainly talk to stores about it, but they can talk to us as well.

If the BZ kit is once a week, four times a month, what happens in those months where there are 5 weeks in them? November is a good example... so is March. Would that be a "free" week or would the stores just get the kit as usual?

I hope everyone knows I was joking about the "Best of Game" cards not being legal in Modified. They will of course be legal.

Is there an age requirement to be a Gym Leader?
If you run your Battle Zone as a League does it still affect Players K ratings. Can you run Both at the same time (e.g. Older more experienced players Play in a tournament while younger or newer players Play in a league format.)?
Can a place that is not a retail store run a league?

Since you would be running Battlezone as a League or "open play", there would not be any DCI sanctioning involved, if I'm not mistaken. So if its not a tournament, you couldnt be credited towards it.

One a week so 5 if there are 5 weeks in a month.

League does not affect DCI standings only Tournaments.

Must run it in a retail setting as far as I know.

Sorry for getting off topic, DMTM. It was silly of me.

Now to my question: there will be 3 Promos each season, right? An old promo, an all-new Promo and a Best of Pokemon promo. I know that the Best of Pokemon promos won't be black-star promos, but will have a new number system. What about the "new Promos"? Will they follow the same new number system as the Best of Pokemon promos? Will they all be entirely new cards, only released in Japan before (like Year 3's promos)?

It is a little more complicated then that Golduck.

There will be new and old promos to start with.

The new will be the best of game promos, that will also be released later in the year but not with the cool foil stamp. Later on in the year we will be alternating new promo's with reprinted cards like Electrabuzz.

So there are two promos not three per kit. There is also not a season any more it is continuous.

Sorry if I missed this in the last post DMTM but did we get an answer to the black star promo question.

So have we seen the last of the black star promo or are they continuing with the "best of" promo's being distinguished by no star and a numbering system that starts at 1?

DMTM,

When will us Professors be able to start to sign up stores in our area? I see on the website that some have already signed up for December and I would love to get my three stores I have talked to up and going.

No more black Star Promos. Numbering systems info not ready to release yet.
Need to save some info for the chat. They might tell you more then.

DMTM,

So what about the stores that have already signed up. Will professors not be able to count those stores if they helping set them up since store signed up early? I was thinking that is what the delegate program was for to sign up the stores, and if stores are able to sign up early then some of the professors in their areas could miss out on helping on this program.

What is the phone number for store owner/managers to call to sign up for Battlezone Kits?

I am currently talking to a store that may be very interested in hositng Battlezone since all the Wizard of the Coast stores have suspended leagues until after the Holidays.

The store should contact
the Wizards of the Coast direct sale department to learn more about BattleZone. They can can email [email protected] or call
1-800-564-1636. This # is ONLY for store managers or owners!

Good question!

I dont think someone asked this yet, if I am, my apologies. Is there any specific release date for Battlezone? I will be playing in an upcoming DCI Modified tournament at the end of November (30th) and would like to know if Electabuzz is legal then in the format. I just dont want to end up with a deck with illegal cards and not be able to play [Smile]

I must have missed it again,
but is the Battle Zone available to people outside of North-America, or are the kits only being sent to the MP's in other countries.
On a similar note, does one have to be a North-American to participate in the Delegate program?

I know that BZ is coming to the UK [Smile] we expect to see the sets in January.

It seems that for the rest of the world it is up to the respective WotC offices to introduce it.

So lobby your local WotC...

1)what are the wizards stores doing about holidays? battlezone is supposed to start, yet the wizards stores dun start them due to holidays.

2)so as u mentioned you can run either a tournament or a league, so my question is if you can run a league, THEN a tournament at the end of season, like last league.

im sure i have more questions, just yet to be thought of

We've been running Tourneys as part of our leagues for years now so why not just sanction a tourney whenever you like?

It doesn't have to be linked to BZ and your league structure anyway.

I always find it is easier to do it and ask permission afterwards that way it's too late to say no [Wink]

You just may have to say sorry that's all [Smile]
