So like whats the deal with this? Its just ridiculous.. and top it off the younger Mewtwo pulls energy from the trash. So I guess not being able to DRE it and effectively being an S1 is a drawback but seriously thats just crazy. What do people think of this monster? =S

Only problem is that Gardy PK's going to be rotated later this year, and DP5 won't come out till what, May/June or so? So even then at best you might be able to slot him in at Worlds, but that's it.

What comes better to mind is Leafeon Lv X and Mewtwo Lv X. Leafeon lets you get the energy onto him fast, and then Mewtwo sweeps.
 
And you can get him out faster with less cards than Infernape.

But honestly, what's the problem with this? Mewtwo is a beast in the video games, why not here. I've seen too many terrible Pokés get good cards while some of the better ones are over-looked. I say if any Pokémon needs to be somewaht broken it's Mewtwo.
 
All the things that Prime has been saying recently about the power of new cards seems to be the case here. Mewtwo Lv. X>Gardy>Blissey>Empoleon>non-DP cards. Arceus will probably have a Lv. X that lets you do 120 damage for 2 colorless energy without discarding anything. It'll probably have some messed up Poke-Body that prevents all damage or effects of attacks from anything without "Holon's" in it's name, and it's Poke-Power will be the same thing as SW Absol's first attack. Pssh...

Anyway, ShadowTogetic's probably right, this card will probably be delayed as well (whatever happened to the hope of us catching up to Japan's format?). : (
 
When I saw the spoiler for it, it really reminded me of what I said recently about certain cards getting overpowered, and the overpowered only being trumped by the more overpowered.

Where is this game going?

In a short span of sets, 90 for FF on a stage 2 is outdone by 100 for PP on a basic.

But its too good to be true... if this card arent mistranslated or errated or whatever, we are gonna get it too late... :(

Calm down, think it through. :lol: Seriously what does 90 or 100 actually mean? Yeh, when 90 or 100 was considered a desirable HP (Mew ex and Banette ex for example) it is cretainly useful which is what made Raichu HP good and Flygon ex's psychic pulse strong. Now just about everything good has 130HP. 90/100 takes 2 hits to KO it so it's not that much better than hitting for 80? Its retreat and HP are nothing exceptional.
 
This will be interesting. I just wonder if it'll be like Garchomp and not even come out or be delayed.I have got a few ideas if it does come out though. Seriosly though, 100 for PP on a psy pokemon?? The little couple (Gardy & Gallade) will be hiding in their cottage by the river for a while.:nonono:
 
think it through more closely and more specifically

one hitting gallade, and one hitting, magmorter with plus power is broken, with lati-lock, the right amount of pluspowers and luck you might 2 hit wailord

now let's just put that in the back of our minds because we def won't see it soon and our metagame will proably be more diverse when we do

also unless it's a promo like garchomp then it won't be held back, maybe delayed since our sets are geetting cut so bad with little (no) hope of catching up to japan, but people need to remember that there sets come in 2 boosters, with different contents, it wouldn't be fair to get them all in one booster
