Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Oregon State Championship - March 1, 2008

I am looking at driving my son to Oregon from Ukiah, CA. It looks like about 70 miles west to the I-5, then north to Salem. Only 9 hours of driving. Pasadena the week after is only slightly closer, but a family gathering has sprung up for the CA State weekend, so we'll see you in OR.

GREAT!!! We would love to have you. Any and all are always welcome in Oregon, besides that BDS and Chris run a heck of a tournament with lots of door prizes and FUN

Who's posting under Chris' account? I smell a hacker.

Don't forget about your loyal volunteers who help with the side events. The DS tournament that gets extra prizes from Team Rocket would be NOTHING without us.

Just BIASED

These tourneys wouldn't be as awesome as they are without EVERYBODYS help including but not limited to: donated door prizes, help/staff from our friends up North, help/staff from the Portland area, Team Rocket running the DS side event (which I of course also have gotten winner prizes for)
and MOST IMPORTANTLY..... the players and parents who support this wonderful game!!!!!

Can't wait to see everyone. This year maybe Oregon will keep some of the winner spots :thumb:

Well, I'll bring mine, but we might need to bring more than just one.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

I'll bring mine, but we'll probably need more than just one.

I can bring my Cube, but we'll need other people to bring their GC controllers so we have a total of 8. Wait, 2 GC's would mean 2 TV's as well. I don't think we could pull this off. Also Phazon, let's not have a repeat of what happened last year with the missing controller incident.

Staff promos for trade?

Anyone going to Oregon states have a DP Prerelease Luxio Staff card for trade? If you have an extra one and would like to trade it for one of the other Staff promos let me know and I will meet with you at the Tourney to make the trade.

If you have a Luxio and would trade it for a regular card, make me an offer and I will consider it.

Although I will not be in attendance, Oregon States will begin the event EVERYONE has been waiting for.....
THE OPTWOBFNSNSBN (The Official Pokemon TCG Washington-Oregon Battle For Northwest Superiority Not Sanctioned By Nintendo).
Btw, I did NOT even need to go back and look up what the accronym meant. ;p

In the three big Northwest events, Oregon states, Washington states, and Northwest Regionals, the two states will do battle and score points. Each age division winner gets a point for their state. (if someone out of state wins, it goes to 2nd place and so on until we have a WA/OR player). So there are 9 points at stake.

If you spend considerable time in each state, you may be given the choice of representing both states, and if you win would give .5 to each state. Final decisions on who rightfully is a representative of Washington or Oregon are made by the OPTWOBFNSNSBN director (me) as decided at the 2004 Vancouver Convention.

Any disputes to the scoring of the OPTWOBFNSNSBN will follow the OPTWOBFNSNSBN appeals process, with a national panel as the final means of appeal as stated at the 2004 Vancouver Convention.

Washington has won all 3 years of the OPTWOBFNSNSBN. Last year's score was WA 7.5 OR 1.5
Will Washington's dominance continue? Or will Oregon close the gap and pull the upset?
