Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Oregon State Championship - March 1, 2008

Thanks for the link David! Isn't this where the Washington players stayed at for the first regionals that Tyler won with Muk/Weezing? Too bad to hear you won't be making it to Oregon States. =/

That's right. For some reason, the hotel seems VERY familiar but after looking at the pictures, the layout is a bit different.

It is a hotel. After a while, they all seem to look alike...

I guess there is a Best Western Black Bear Inn in Salem where other WA players are staying for both States and Regionals.

Those wanting to stay in Salem might want to take advantage of a deal worked out by Lisa Wade, Bremerton WA League Leader.
Hey BDS,

I talked with Best Western Black Bear Inn on Market street, the manager there said
that he would give a AAA discount to the Pokémon people for both states and
Regionals. All they have to do is to mention Pokémon. There should be a notice
somewhere right on the front desk.

I figure this is probably a good place to ask this:

I'm coming from the south and the way weather conditions have been this year so far, there's a decent chance it could be pretty bad through Grants Pass and some other areas. Are any of these highways going from West-East from the 101 any good. As in are any of them NOT snowing this time of year? I don't have chains so I thought this would be a good thing to figure out.

The best west-east route would probably be the road from Florence to Eugene, hwy 126. There are some others south of Florence, but this time of year they can be prone to rock slides and washouts.
