^ I built all my decks with proxies and played against myself, mostly to see how conssitant it would be. Although quite honestly I only made 1 change. Since when aren't we allowed to >.>

hardest pod? by membership of big names or by challenge?

seems like being creative with the unowns could be hardest. Or maybe just hardest to mark.

Personally I'll be curious to see just how varied the stage two decks are. Once you have your stage two line build along with supporting pokemon and trainers fro consistancy just how many spots are left for the techy stuff?

Is there any way the gym can publish the decklists of the entrants?

Unown ! is easy. Gyarados/Cress is an obvious one, there are of course more

Woo, i am in pod 4, our challenge was Fortress.

Of course for this contest we decided that Blastoise didn't work so i had to get creative, luckily i did...

Hope i score high

Unown ? was easier than people think....

His power makes you want to run different types of pokemon
His attack discards cards from ur hand and lets you draw

So who would be a good deck with him in it?

Why not Garchomp??

I didnt find Rayquaza all that hard. I think that people are underestmating the dark horse types in the pods. Creativity is huge in this and if you net deck or run arc type decks your thinking and style conform to that. If you are a rogue player who is always thinking outside the box then those are the players to watchout for. Flareon is one of the names on the list I feel will turn alot of heads. I think all the pods are going to a true challenge due to the dark horse factor but, if I had to pick one I'd say Pod 7.

Ray was actually quite easy. Within about 30 seconds of seeing the card, I had already figured out my final strategy and had narrowed my other choices down to about 3. If Cy decides to post my deck (he said that he might post some of the better entries, and mine was tied for first in my group), then I'll go into it a little bit more...

My deck tied for last, but I still had a lot of fun making it.

It's all right, Jand. Keep in mind that this score is only half of the equation...Meaning that you still have a shot at making the top 64. : )

I scored in the Top 9 in my POD.(unown ?) with a final score of 14/20, I think I can make it to Top 64 if I just pull it together next round.

Thanx for posting the results Cyrus

Cyrus, I was not complaining nor am I worried. (Just playing off the Bullados post above me when said he was tied for 1st) I do want to make it to the next round of course, but with so many people participating in this contest, I am not going to feel bad at all if I do not make the cut. I am just going to do my best and have fun.

Also Cyrus, I do not envy you at all. It must have been very tough for you to judge so many decks in such a short amount of time all by yourself. Thanks again for running this contest for the gym

Eggs was pretty easy. All you have to do is find a good energy acceleration strategy.

Yes but in that case there are not many cards which can make it a creative deck.
Perhaps I understand it wrong, but consistency means to me EACH turn being able to do a lot of damage with Eggs? And because it relies on a flip you are stucked with only a few cards.

I am very curious about your decklist, so if you are willing to send it me I might be able to figure out what the intention really is.
