How is Hippowdon a better card then either of the two? it's damage output is as bad as blissey's, and your oppponent would be prepared for the eventual sand reset, and play so that when they lose it all they're not gonna be stuck for the rest of the game. Besides, the worst it's gonna do is set the opponent back a couple of turns as they power up something on the bench. Why would Beedrill even be in decision??? What can Beedrill beat other than Flygon???? Flygon isn't even that great of a card. 110 max with 5 on the bench,150 with 4 special dark and weavile. Hippodwon is a better card and it isn't getting any kind of hype. Silly gymers.
Hippo isn't about OHKOing everything, its like Blissey, its cumulative damage, you build, then 40/40 or 80 and 10 to the bench. Thats STRATEGY, what a deck should have besides just trying to OHKOing 1 pokemon.
I love how everyone is saying that Beedrill beats Flygon, which may or may not be true as I havent' tested it, but the fact of the matter is that I have yet to see anyone play Beedrill anytime all year, so I don't know why it is all of a sudden getting all this hype. I mean do we expect for it to just appear out of no where. When posting what beats it keep it to things that are realistic. Porygon is realistic, Blissey isn't. There is too much that beats it right now for it to be considered good. People need to think before posting as some of the thoughts on here are just not helpful and pretty out there.

....because the new Beedrill and Kakuna get a consistent T2-3 120, that's why.
Ditto
Gigas

Excuse me, Gigas gets owned by Flygon. It lacks speed without the Lv.X, and the Lv.X gets OHKOed.

That's the problem. Strategy like cumulative damage doesn't work well in this format. =\
How do we know, we haven't seen a deck like this played in this format. Nobody tried blissey because of Machamp/Gengar running around. We don't know how well it can do, but its a good deck to test and build around. Its self reliant and can hold its own.
