We'll see a US champ eventually though I think, and next year's format is rumored to include ubers as well, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Eww... I hate when übers are allowed. I just think they make the video games much less fun.

I've been debating what I'll do if speedrill takes gold...

It'll really depend on how creative his deck list is and if it can break the ordinarilly bland point and shoot method of every other speedrill deck

Beedrill was a great choice for the metagame, SP wasn't around that much because everyone teched mewtwo x or machamp. Beedrill has great match ups against any evolution based deck. It's not the best deck in the world (not by far) it's just a good choice for the worlds meta(def. would have never worked for nats)

That would change the matchup drastically. I'm not sure, but I know i couldnt fit Luxray/Poketurns and pluspowers into the same list.
