I enjoyed this writing contest--lots of fun for me. I too would have voted myself off as a summer trip got in my way and I didn't take the time to give my story the proper depth and ending it needed. Good luck to Pikamster and Yellowfire7. I look forward to reading your entries.

No, they are both disqualified for lack of participation.


ROUND 5 info:

Word limit: 500-5500 words
Deadline: Monday, September 20th. If both competitors send in their entries before then, I will end the round earlier.

That is all. No extra restrictions, an expanded word limit, and a longer deadline. May the best writer win.

These words came from a small Pikachu who is hovering on the page. Pikamaster sits down and starts to type, ready to try his best to win.
 
^^ Same as Pikamaster. I have really enjoyed watching and then participating in this contest, so I hope I can come up with something worthy of the occasion. Thanks for hosting it.

That's fine with me. I've been having a little issue with writing since some drama near the end of August, so I'm not as far along as I would like to be either.
 
Well, I've gotten a lot done, though I'm not finished. It's turning out really well, finally something with quality to rival that of my first entry.:rolleyes:

Also, I have a question regarding the voting. Is it going to work the same way as it did before, with votes for best and worst entry? With only two stories, I would imagine that the best and worst vote counts would be mirror images of each other (unless somebody voted the same entry for both), so I'm wondering if the voting guidelines will change any for the final round.

RULE CHANGE: Only vote for the best entry, not the worst. However, I am happy to pass along comments to both writers. All I ask is that it be obvious which is your actual vote.

Anyways, to me it's obvious which mine is, Yellowfire does have a different writing style than my own, but anyone who votes based on who wrote the story rather than which one is better is stupid. So really, that doesn't matter, heck, I'm not even sure why I brought it up. Maybe I shouldn't be posting...
