heres a better question,.....
if you playing vanilux and your oppenent plays espeon, how can you tech against that.....
You don't. The only remotely good method is countered by a little good playing.

Just play Pokemon Catcher. Twins for the catcher, knock out the thing. Problem solved.
Play V-Create Victini and ohko Espeon.
You will definitely draw prizes thanks to Espeon, no question...But those are prizes you could have been drawing via actual attacking. Catcher, Kingdra, and Chandelure will all get your Espeon.
I don't think any of you guys have actually played these matchups enough. "Auto win" and "double bye" - seriously? Do you even think enough people will play these decks (good though they may be) to warrant the inclusion?
Turn one Darkrai is scary; turn one Mewtwo is scary. Espeon is not scary because it basically trades the speed and aggression of those early prizes for knockouts later in the game. By spending spots on Espeon or Unown/Seeker, you're crippling your early game, giving me a chance to enjoy a very stable first couple of turns.

If you want to increase your chances of beating Accelgor/Vanilluxe, play more Mewtwo/Darkrai...Play more Tynamo. Basically, just play things that are universally good, but won't get locked.
Re-read what he said. You do realize that T1 Darkrai or Mewtwo is about the worst thing that can happen to VVV, right? Getting 3 OHKO's on Big Cones with Mewtwo is more than achievable, especially in Eels. You realize that mewtwo darkrai don't one hi unless stacked with energy but that's only for mewtwo and then vanilluxe takes two prizes
