Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Espeon

Post is uselees now. Will be deleted.

That meta might be right in Masters. Not seniors. Not by a longshot. There will be a lot more random/junk.

You don't tech for bad decks that aren't a viable threat to win the tournament and are going to show up in such few numbers. You'd be better off teching your deck to improve your Darkrai matchup before you tech your deck for the random junk in the format. I mean, if you're teching for Vanilluxe, why not start teching for Quad Groudon or Typhlosion/Reshiram?

Hint: The tech that beats both Quad Groudon and Typhlosion Reshiram is Lanturn Prime.

Play Espeon. VVV and Accelgor have been everywhere at European Nats. You're turning 2 bad match-ups into 2 autowins, and Eevee with Call For Family is a good starter.

Yep I agree. Pretty much everyone at our league (15-20 people) will be teching umbreon or unown cure/seeker. It's actually not bad at all because some decks really benefit from call for family and other decks really benefit from seeker. Even if you don't need to use it on cure it's a surefire way to heal a heavily damaged EX without a bunch of shenanigans with max potion or super scoop up.

Also like Evan said, you get an autowin over two decks that you will most likely run into.

heres a better question,.....

if you playing vanilux and your oppenent plays espeon, how can you tech against that.....
