I'm not there, but it looks like the base is wooden and the Pikachu is a hard plastic. Maybe a foot and a half tall?
lol I like it(The glass one was better, but I like this one alot too!)
It's too childish for my taste.

Can't speak to VGC.
According to something I read (whether it was from Pokemon or Gamespot, I forget) that said they were streaming Top 8, Top 4, and Finals for VGC Master and the finals for TCG Masters.
It would make sense for VGC. It looks like they're about ready to start streaming.

Also, Sami Sekkoum has just won against Dylan Bryan in top 16 to proceed to top 8. He is still undefeated at the moment.
